You have seen the Splitcoast Challenge Card Sketch thread, right? There are hundreds of card sketches, one posted every week. The sketch is shown in the grey and even in another format. Then the challenge is to make a card using that sketch. I refer to it many a time just to get an inspiration. You can find it here .
Plus in this thread, there is a post that has downloadable sketches! You'll love this thread!!
thought that is what I posted? the SCS sketch forum....

It's the same challenge, yes - but yours is a link to the forum, mine was a link to the gallery with all the sketches (not cards) ;).
Sorry, guess I am an "old pro" it is pretty easy to navigate in the forum to get to the gallery. :p Guess I should just post all links :p Too early in the am to help I guess

If you google "Sketch challenge blogs" you will see dozens of people who have sketch challenges...some have stopped producing new sketches, but the blog is still up and the sketches are available.
I don't think you'll find many, if any, that do a sketch and don't have samples and examples of how the sketch was used. So you will need to go through the samples as well. Some have archived pages where you can access just the sketches. Personally, I like it when they do that.
