a windy 36f here today...been snowing the past few days...this is spring???
I see that some lawyer is suing Puxatawney Phil (the groundhog who predicted early spring)! They say that since he is already serving life behind bars, he should get the death penalty! LOL
Two more days to get your cards in for this challenge. I'm going to be hostessing next week....just a warning! LOL
I only gave her a million cause she doesn't get any points at all since she's the hostess of the whole challenge! LOL Same with me....no points, so I have to do something to make it fun! ;)
Ok...so there is a card making class on the 28th....hhhmmm...I found my going to class kit...now I just need to be healthy enough to go...like that will ever happen

I am also waiting on results from my dexiscan or whatever.(for my bones) Got a letter that my mamogram is okay, though.
I hope that the ones of you that are not feeling well, will soon be on the mend.

Hope your dexascan results are good. I know my doc is going to want to discuss bone meds at the next visit and I keep avoiding that talk!
The sciatica usually gets pinched off by muscles or fatty tissues, in both cases, heat and ice, stretching and as painful as it is movement.
I have had problems with mine ever since I gained weight. The doctor did give me muscle relaxants, that eased the pain but the exercises just about killed me.
Stress can bring it on as well.

I haven't tried ice. Heat feels good so I sleep on a heating pad. I have it on the lowest setting and it shuts off in an hour so I don't worry about getting burned. Slept well but with the aid of pain meds.
The ice reduces swelling so if the nerve is being cut off due to swelling the ice will help with that. Each case will be different as it depends on what caused the flair up.
Kathy I NEVER remember doing anything! Could it have been the snow?? Over time it just got mad and said...this will stop her? That is how I feel about my flare-ups

It's not funny, but weird. I am having problems with sciatic nerve too! And my legs and back and, my husband said he will take me out and shoot me.
When the pain is bad, that sometimes sounds like a good solution! LOL... Here's another funny, strange thing. My mouth issues have almost disappeared at the moment! I have had those for two years straight! So I don't know if it is a nerve thing, or if the pain meds I am taking for the sciatic pain is helping with that! So I am enjoying the relief from that, while not enjoying the leg and back pain...if you know what I mean. So, Sharon, are you laying on heating pads too? The heat feels so good so I have a large long heating pad for the back and I heat another thing up in the microwave and lay that under my knee and prop it up.

The local ice cream shop has opened for the summer already! I saw a line on Thursday and it was cooooollld out!
Ok...so Kerra met a new buddy in the elevator....then we went outside and mom got a combover effect hair do. did our little walk...back inside trying to tame the hair...yup...unpack the hat!
