Grumpy is moving into his first apartment at the end of the month...so he has been "shopping" at my place....hmmm things have gone missing...or he says that I deserve better than that ratty old thing and he will take it off my hands!

You are going to laugh, I did this technique on copic colouring paper which is very thin, so I then stamped the images on a second piece of paper and then i coloured them, cut them out and glued them down, the sea horses are stamped directly on the paper, one is highlighted in gold.

My mom tells me all the time that I need to keep those things in my Blazer, you just never know. The only thing I have is a medical kit & flashlight.

It is just a little ol' monitor and you can handle that just like you watch the hands of the clock go round.. and remember it is just doin' what it is supposed to do..... keepin' you healthy..... You can read all about it in my description. I made three straw blowing cards, but had to throw the first out (really!). For a messy technique, I really enjoyed doing these, and I'm sure I'll use the technique again. Thanks for the challenge!

I hear ya, Val! I threw out two! The first was on glossy photo paper and was horrible. The second, equally horrible, due to color choices. The third and fourth I have posted in the gallery and am much more happy with those. I guess it is true that practice makes perfect!

Lauren will love this. I stopped by the office where I volunteer and found a gift from a friend in my drawer. She just got back from a three week trip to Australia and brought me this cute little fellow back!

Aaaaacckkkk! I just *finished* a straw blow on glossy cardstock, all went well until I put an ugly bow on it smack dab in the middle of the flower...yuk! way tooo big, pulled it off gently, but not gently enough...have a white spot...tried to cover it up...and wham! the black ink smeared. grrrrrrr....really didn't want to waste the bow so put it in the corner...looks gawdy...but I'm gonna take a picture and upload it anyway, maybe tonight, late, when everyone's asleep!!

Right now, I'm just trying to fill a day; my youngest DD is in the middle of a miscarriage and there's nothing I can do except pray. Would appreciate prayers for her and her family. Thanks so much.
