WHAT? Am I the first to post for April?!! Amazing!
I think I'll need 10 birthday cards for April, only one of which is for a guy. I will also need at least 4 for my Sunday School class ladies, and who knows how many get well or sympathy cards.
Just your slacker corrupter and enabler checking in late....Sheesh the last couple weeks got lost somewhere...if anyone finds them let me know....but I finally have the April 1st challenge up:
I had to work my way through several challenges that I wanted to complete so it took me awhile to make a card for the YCDI challenge for week 13 - a "squashed" card. It was fun and quite easy although there are more complex variations. I rarely make square cards, but didn't want to try to do the math to make one in A2 size.
I need 4 female birthday, 3 guy birthday, 1 little boy birthday, 1 baby, and 1 anniversary card. But I have several belateds I could use for my less than stellar last month and I'd love to make some just because/encouragement cards.

I have a wedding card and a tenth anniversary card for my DS2 and DiL for this month, Im quite pleased that i have finally finished them both so I will upload them later today.
You girls have been busy! I am sending 2 out from my stash tomorrow!
But here is an encouragement card to send out. Need lots of them, lately. Phil 4:16
My first two cards for April, One for Magdalenas 40th Birthday on 10th April, our son is whisking her off to Paris next weekend to celebrate so I was really pleased to be able to use the papers, the other for my DS2 and DIL, their 10th Anniversary.
I actually made these two last month but, too busy to get them uploaded. I hope to have time to work on some challenges this weekend. This has been such a busy winter and I don't know why?! I'm running out of cards!
This was an easy, one-layer card. Masking strip
This one is for the Fan Club Feb. Challenge, Cased Birds

Sorry don't we all save useless, I mean useful things, hoping to do something amazing with them, I carried plastic cartons all the way back from San Francisco, you know the ones that sliced ham comes in, they are just great to store the tiny bits I've cut with my dies and not used!!
LOL! One man's trash is another man's treasure. We all have bits in our stashes that other people would wonder about. I have a stack of the plastic packaging Spellbinder's dies come in. I keep thinking I will try to emboss it or use it for die cuts.
Oh Angie, so do I keep the plastic packaging from my dies, just incase I make a window card!
But in my defence, one did come in useful, I package Magdalenas birthday card in one so my son could transport it safely in his hand luggage, he did make me laugh though as he looked at it and said, ok, what do I do with it? I had to explain that he should take it out the plastic before giving Magdalena the card.
Yep, I've got a stash of miscellaneous packaging material and other oddments that I keep "just in case" I can use it on a card. And every so often I do use some of it. Funny though - that when there is a challenge to use something like that, it's the one thing that I don't have. :(
I made a birthday card that I'll hand deliver because I don't like to mail anything bulky. I have a friend whose birthday is Sunday, so this is her card.
You may have seen the 40th birthday card in my gallery that I made for Magdalena, I said they were off to Paris to celebrate, well our romantic DS1 proposed, so this is the card Ive made for them.
I need some thank yous, and encouragement cards and birthday cards. Don't know which this will be yet. But here is a card for QFTD Bonnie, bon2stamp. Vase
Been gone for over a week. Missed being in my craft room. Maybe tonight I will do some more.
Here is another card for the challenge using spring flowers (however stamped them in black). I used the Straw blowing YCDI challenge for the bg.
Here is Straw Blowing.

I have such a hard time keeping up with what cards I've made, posted and mailed. But here are four more for April. Two for ladies in my S.S. class and two for the YCDI15 straw blowing technique.
Finally getting a chance to post something for the April 1st challenge. My favorite season is Summer and the butterflies on this card remind me of the sunshine and warmth of the season. Here is my card: Twisted Easel Butterflies
I've been busy making cards today, finally getting a little caught up with some challenges. I finally got a card made for last week's QFTD, Bon2stamp (Bonnie). I'll use this for a guy's birthday in about a week.
