Wow. I'm all caught up! Today was a marathon stamping experience. (I was gone for three days.) I did three hycct cards, a tlc challenge, a free-for-all challenge, a mft sketch, six snss release party cards, and one vlv. A couple were combinations... Just Monday's hycct tomorrow. Good thing. I've some other stuff to catch up, too. Like sleep.
I'll upload them tomorrow.

I've got a couple of cards to upload today :-)
I just finished uploading the first batch. I'll wait until good natural light to photograph the rest-- too lazy to set up my light box. Sometimes, I think it takes longer to photograph and upload than to make the cards! Not counting planning the design and gathering materials, of course.
Now, I think I'll try to get back to sleep. Still very early here on the west coast.

Psst - we are 12 cards away from 1,000 - who's uploading tonight???
Wheeeeeeee 1,000!!! That is awesome!
My weekend got away from me. I spent most of yesterday in the kitchen peeling, chopping, stirring, cooking, washing, washing, and washing. I was too pooped to think about making cards. Hopefully tonight I can get back on the Hope wagon!! I'm only four cards behind as of right now. :-) I've surprised myself by almost keeping up with the challenges! Yay!
Today we have three challenges, right? I don't know that I'll have time to do any of them, which will mean catch up time all week.
I see that HYCCT1215A for a peaceful pink card is up, but the chatter thread says "closed." Hope someone can fix that.
If the master tracking sheet is right...there's just two today. Second one posts at noon.
I have fallen behind on making my cards. Why does life have to get so....busy?....complicated?.....
I have only 7 posted, three more made but not photographed, three more designed but not made. But I have a few hours this morning to try to catch up. I'm sure they won't get photographed today either, but I WILL get caught up this week!

I have to agree - I don't love the upload process! It feels like it takes me forever. I did get my few cards uploaded this morning, so that felt good.

Yes. I worked like crazy yesterday to get caught up, and whaddayaknow-- two challenges today! I think I used up all my mojo yesterday. Eh, there's still time...

Yes, Diane - you are correct, only two challenges for Monday, so I'm only two behind, but have ideas for both of them. I've been doing so good at keeping up this year, photographing and uploading each card as it's done. It has been so much easier than last year when I got behind and saved several cards to upload at a time.
Life is busy and complicated - yesterday was a total write-off as far as crafts go, but I survived and life should get back to normal (?) soon.
Good morning everyone. I don't get alot of time to chatter on this thread, but I love reading all your stories and getting to know you better. I'm making the time this morning to give a big shout out to Dina(dini). We all know how hard all these gals work to give us these great challenges for an amazing cause. She was so nice to pm me and tell me I was not putting my cards in the right gallery. Not only that, she also walked me through how to do it right! Now that is one kind and sweet person. I'm loving all the great cards that are being uploaded. Awesome talent from all of you. Keep making those great cards.

Glad you stopped in Linda! I did the same thing my first card and got a pm too! They really are awesome here!
Looks like we finally have a bit of sunshine here today. I may go back and take some better photos of some of my cards, but then again, probably not! Too much going on to redo work. Can't complain about the rain here though as we're still 7" behind normal and the farmers really need it. Sure does open your eyes to live in a rural area and have personal contact with farmers....they don't have an easy job and so much depends on things out of their control. It has made me so truly thankful at harvest time.
Good afternoon ladies! Been a fairly busy day for me but I did get a card made. My challenge posts tomorrow and I'm very excited to be one of the hostesses this year.
OH MY WORD... I am SO behind... had to take a break to complete release cards... now I have ONE day to play catch up, as I am working my other 4 days off!!!!

I hope everyone's having a wonderful day!
Hey Lynn, I will be sure to play along. I've been working hard to keep up because we are going on a mini vacation for Fall Break this weekend and I know I will lag behind because of it. So unless a miracle occurs and I get work done, the packing done and the house cleaned by tomorrow evening, I probably won't get to it until next week.

How cool, Lynn! I look forward to seeing it!! I haven't been able to stamp the last few days, but I have been enjoying seeing the gallery....
(GO Ducks! Oregon had a bye last weekend and will meet ASU in a challenging game on Thursday night. Passed over by BCS. Again.)
Where in Oregon do you live, Brenda? I grew up just outside Salem. I'm not much into football, but I hear plenty about the Ducks from friends and family!
Groan....I'm so far behind....work kicking my big booty again this week....so didn't do much when got home but lounge back with a brewski and relax....So now I have 6 challenge cards and my teapot card to do tomorrow....oh my....at least several of them are designed in my head so hopefully they turn out to at least resemble the idea...for tonight I'm just gonna cruise through the gallery a little
I have managed to get THIS close to being caught up.... had to update my gallery and put all my cards into the HYCCT Album... I had NO IDEA!!! lol Good thing it wasn't at the end.... lol
I still have to complete the word/book one.... UGH!!! I am drawing a BIG FAT BLANK!!!!!

Wow, good job, girlie! I'm behind by 4 - the last four challenges. Technically I am behind by 7. I worked on three of them last night but didn't take pics yet. So if I can get the last four done, then I'll be back on track.
The one I had the most trouble with was the show tunes one.... ack..... I'm deaf so what does that tell ya?? I'm not a show tunes gal, heheheheheeee!
I'm hoping to work on the Pink and Peaceful challenge tonight. Whoa - my head just did a doubletake. Somehow Pink and Peaceful translated into Blush and Bashful. "My colors are Blush and Bashful," says Shelby. "Your colors are Pink and Pink," says M'lynn. ROFL!!!! I love that movie!!! (Steel Magnolias)

I played Shelby in the worst community theater production of Steel Magnolias ever! ;)
Hi girls! This mom stuff sure gets in the way of crafting! ;) I think I'm 8 or 9 behind at this point? I really need to catch up because we're going to Sea World this weekend so no craft time there either. And eventually I'll need to figure out my children's Halloween costumes so that will take some time. Pretty sure I will be frantically crafting the first weekend of November to finish and then spend the whole last day uploading!;)

I'm still trying to catch up, but I'm hanging in there getting a card made almost every day. I'm glad we have that first week in November to catch up!
I did send out a box today! We are only about 35 minutes or so from MD Anderson, so they should get there fast.
I'm just so excited to be doing these challenges. I love stamping, but stamping for a good cause ROCKS!
Okay, off to either stamp or have some cocoa. The baby went to bed early so I think her night feeding is going to be super early tonight. I should head to bed soon but man, it's only 8:30.

Your cards look great!!! Wishing you some sleep :-) I remember those days!
Yep, I remember those baby days well....you think you'll never sleep a full night again! Now my oldest 3 are adults and coming by and doing things like taking the younger ones to their practices, etc and even costume shopping. Such a blessing to me and all the ages and stages have had their advantages and challenges! You'll make it through and before you know it you'll be looking back in amazement at how fast the time has flown.

Isn't that the truth, Gail? My baby is a senior in high school this year ... big changes next year!!
Ok gang -- let's start chatting it up....
I am behind by a bunch of cards. I can only stamp for a short time each day because of the disc surgery. I spent some time just trying to come up with some ideas tonight and I am stumped by a couple of the challenges ... the spelling challenge HYCCT has me scratching my head .. and so does the show tunes one. I know I'll come up with something .....
How about you guys?
I've been combining hycct challenges with the routine challenges occasionally, and keeping things CAS-- kind of channelling virtual stamp night parameters for the most part. You know-- 45 minutes.
The movie lyrics card was fun. I think you can do just about any card and find a movie/musical connection. Horse image? Annie Get Your Gun, or Oklahoma! A red rose? Phantom of the Opera. etc. Same thing with spelling-- Although, I did pull out a dictionary. I thumbed through the h, y, c, and t's for ideas.
CAS, and limit the time.
