BTW - If someone has already started on a card that another person is challenged to make, what should be done?? I had started work on card with POPPIES on it before the challenge was made to someone (yes, I have a stamp with poppies on it) - should I post the card  ? I don't want to frustrate the person who was challenged....

Yeah, me too, thought they we old, but not. Love that song and of course, stuck in my head. How we would dance around to the song. I still sing and dance when I have the need. LOL!! OK, who else does that????
For my labor day, we are waiting to meet our daughter's new beau and watching CFL -provincial rivalry. Go Calgary!!!
Marny, the poppy card is getting there, soon I hope.

Janet, I thought there were no rules. Last week I made a Zinger then challenged for a Zinger. No biggie, Post the poppy card. It is nice to see diffferent cards with the same word.

Post it Janet. It's bound to happen that we are challenged with something someone may have already started.
Janet I would say of course post it.. We all come up with different card for the letter P soooo same difference I think waiting to see it...... Didn't know there was a poppy stamp....
Susan- Well here is my Pea card. Had some quirky fun with it so hope it passes the test...The PEA Green boat with the little Peas nestled in with 2 liitle Peas pushing them off is a digi.... Then I framed the scene with Split PEAS from my kitchen....The scene was done with Distress inks.....so there it is.....
Janet love your card.... Thanks for the info on poppy stamps.. They are big veteran thing in Canada.. you are such a great researcher...... I will look them up!!! I have a friend who has spent years in the Legion and works hard for our Veterans. Would be nice to have a stamp like that to make a special card for her... Thanks again.....
Lynn Hope you got done what you wanted and that the glitter you find around your house wont get into Grumpy's soup..... lol
Jeanette- love your cards and I have that stamp.. Good thinking..... Love the black and white,, So striking...
I had forgotten about the SU stamp. I got an embossing folder from SU of some poppies about 2 years ago - it wasn't in the main catalog, it was in one of the smaller catalogs.

Janet thanks for the song, but I always thought that it was by Credence Clearwater Revival, so there you go..... I learned something new today!! Love that song.
Janet I think that challenge or not to someone else, if you were making a poppy card that is the card you should post when done, there is no dibs on words, and I don't think anyone would be upset, send them here if they are and theAussies will sort them out!!!
Jeanette is holding out on us, she is saving her card for something special and now she has announced when it will be posted, she will have our undivided attention, I must try that!!! Love your work Jeanette!!!! Hugs
Great cards girls!!!!
Now I am off back to work and then must have a nana nap..... sometimes if I lay on the bed to have my nana nap I get a little (lot) confused when I wake and am not sure if it the same day or the next day,..... scarey!!!!!
You probably won't hear much from me tomorrow since I am babysitting, unless I log on when the 2 year old naps, but not sure. Wednesday I will be posting the new letter for the challenge. I guess I should make a card to post with it, shouldn't I? Hope Dani is enjoying her holiday!
Lynn - do you think her babysitting tomorrow that will keep her off of the computer (especially SCS) is going to be her excuse for not telling us anything?? AND for giving her time to make her card???

The girl came running in tears to her father. "Dad, you gave me some terrible financial advice!" she cried.
"I did? What did I tell you?" said the dad.
"You told me to put my money in that big bank, and now that big bank is in trouble."
"What are you talking about? That's one of the largest banks in the world," he said. "Surely there must be some mistake."
"I don't think so," she sniffed. "They just returned one of my checks with a note saying, 'Insufficient Funds'."
Hi Ladies, On early because girls will be here in about an hour and a half so I gotta read fast. Sorry I missed all the begging last night, but it wouldn't have helped cause I don't have time to get it posted early anyway! LOL Will check in later today, and go read my email now...
Thank you for the info, Janet... I didn't want to neglect my responsibilities! ;)
Thank you, Susan. I love that image. I, too, was up early, though you beat me by a tad bit. I woke at 4:15 and finally gave up on returning to sleep, so went ahead and got up at 5:15.

Sorry, but Im not good with hints. I've passed that on to DS too. When he was little, I asked him what he got at the concession stand at the football game and his hint: It's long and red and kind of looks like licorice! LOLOLOL
