you guys are so easy to please. Hey Cindy, did you say you had an airbed. Can you still bring it, if you do? If not, no problem - Brian can bring the motorhome up to the house and we can use it. Not a problem.

no Robin - it is absolutely no problem at all. Brian said last night that he would be happy to bring the motorhome up to the house. So bring your jammies.

Without having to go back, I think I said the exit you take off #2 Northbound was Exit 432. That is wrong. It is actually Exit 431. You will take that exit, go to the stop sign, turn right onto Hwy 2A, go past the green highway sign that says Lacombe 5 km, and I am the first driveway on your left - over the train tracks and you are here. See you later.

Thanks for the link Robin. The Sylvan weekend happens to be Lincoln's 5th birthday on the 17th and my husbands birthday on the 18th. With leaving on the 24th for Germany for 2 weeks without my hubby, I think I will not attend this time. It looks great tho

I enjoyed the weekend so much.....though managed to leave stuff in your shower.
Lovin my scrapbook pages, and found more cardstock in Michaels.
I also grabbed the last ruler off the hook in FabricLand.....SCORE!!!!!!
Just got off the phone with Debbie H, and we rebooked for Calgary Creative Stitches/Scrapbooker in October. So we are ready to party in October.

Robin, I am sorry about not being able to go to supper with you. I took my coworkers out and get this, whey wanted to go to..... the food court at Kingsway... lol

haha......you could have come with us for a $85 supper for 2 - Sorrentinos across from the Westin. AND we did not have any booze.
Too rich for my blood. I think a $50 meal for two is living it up.....but then it wasn't the food court either.
Ladies: Found a retreat: Goldeye Lodge, last weekend in October, a fair distance to drive, but the scenery is wonderful, and the last time I was there the food was great. The scrapbook store in Rocky is putting it on. They also have one the end of November, don't know where though.
Just got home from our family wedding in Golden. What a gorgeous place at the top of Kicking Horse. Beautiful wedding.
And when I got putting things away in my kitchen, I came upon an envelope in my kitchen cupboard. Thank you Robin and Diane. An absolutely gorgeous card. And a lovely gc inside. Thank you,but the gc was unnecessary. I loved having you ladies here. And next time hopefully Cindy will be able to stay.

haha - putting it in the toaster would not have been a good idea. It most definitely would have gone up in flames! When you can write your name anywhere in my house on any flat surface, I wouldn't exactly call that a good housekeeper!

Boy sounds like I missed a great weekend! I was thinking of you guys! The pakcing trip at my mom's went great, got a tonne of work done and had a huge garage sale and enjoyed time with family and the weather was unbelievable and the beach, well, let's just say it was pretty hard to leave.
I detected some event planning going on...if there is room for one more I would love to partake.
I am going to drop my working at Scrapbooker's to one night a week, anymore than that and my life is not my own and gee whiz my scrapbooking never gets done!!! So there will be more time to play!

I hope to go to the Creative Stitches show as well. I asked Linda if she wanted to go, but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I won't go alone, but I'll see.
Brian and I have tossed the idea around of the two of us going back to the house in Arizona for a week or so. It will be around that time as well. He needs to make up his mind as to what he wants to do. I know what I want to do. ;)

I am heading down with Debbie Hill for Friday and Saturday, Deb, so if you want to hang with us, that works. We are meeting up with Diane around 10:30, and looks like we get to have lunch with Cindy too.
are you coming home on Friday night or are you spending the night in Calgary? I am free all weekend. We aren't going to Phoenix until the 27th. I would love to go to the show.

Anyone feel like a day of Christmas card making or other stuff? I need to devote a day or more to work on my cards, but I keep letting everything else get in the way!! So I figure if I make a committment and have my buds join me it will work out? Does this make sense? My Saturdays are pretty free and I have two guest rooms if you wanted to come Friday night and make a weekend out of it?.
