And that's what kept you from making a card? Geez...... if I knew thats all it took, I would have kept my other piece of crap;)
Lynn you need all the punishment coming your way, and I will be giving you more..... tee hee
Nice hug Dani, thank you
Stitching card, stitching card, I wonder does she think like me..... or am I going to learn something new.... love new things...
WWWhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I love sliding down the bannister.... and I live in a single level house..... so I visit Miss Lynn and use hers...
OK, I am going to post my examples and challenge now because it seems I can't keep out of the bed long enough to get anything done today. I have done nothing but sleep and get on here inbetween all the naps. so here goes. Mine are called Stitching cards.
You do not have to do one of these. You can do something with a little crosstitching on it or just sewing of anykind, or just stitch something somewhere on it. If you have leftover embrodery floss this works great. You can go to Stitching Cards. Create beautiful handmade greetings cards with prick and stitch embroidery on paper patterns. and get a free pattern to try and do this if you would like. They turn out beautiful. I also used a glitter floss on mine but don't think you can see how it glitters in the pics. If you are not sure what I mean, by all means ask questions. Good luck ladies.
Don't know why a couple are so blurry. I have had one of my headaches all day and hurt my back Tues. and it just does not want to get better. I hate back pain. But thankfully it is not like Dani's.
Ask any questions you would like. Remember the rules.......there are none
Donna- these cards are beautiful.. You got me this time! have never done this before...I have received a couple of christmas cards though... Sure hope you feel better to morrow.
Like I said you do NOT have to do one of these kind. I know everyone has a sewing machine and can stitch on a card, if that is what you would like to do, then do that. But....if you would like to try one of these, just go to the website and print out a free pattern and give it a try. It is sooooooo easy.
OMGoodness Donna! Your cards are beautiful (left some love on all of them). I visited the site, downloaded a couple of the freebies, not sure I understand the directions; watched the tutorial, hmmmmm....may give it a try. What a great CHALLENGE!
I do have a whole kit of the Bazzill In Stitch'z templates, piercer, etc., so might try to use one of those since the stitching is a running stitch. hmmmmm....maybe.
Donna hope you are feeling better today.... Looked for some stitching patterne last night. This should be interesting!!!!! Love the finished look.
So no crafting today, got a call late last night, my niece and 5 in all will be here this aft and likely for dinner... Sort of threw me in a panic for a minute ot two but all is good.. I hate using the oven when it is so hot and we can't have BBQ's here so....... Veggie chilli with some cole slaw will be the menu..... Plain simple and easy....
If you are wondering what Yvonne has been up to, check out her Blog.... now all she has to do is put some of that energy into some amazing cards right lol
Thank you Vickie and Marion. I think you will find that it is VERY easy once you do one. I have also incorporated stamps on some but have given those away.
Sorry Donna, all I can do is faux stitching. I can not sew. I have never sewn anything. Heck, I can't even thread a needle. But your cards are awesome and I am sooooo thrilled to have one of them. Thank you!!!!!! I am looking forward to seeing what everyone else does.
Dani, remember there are no rules. So.......fake it, do the faux stitching. I do NOT expect anyone to do one of these cards. I just thought if they wanted to learn something new then I would show them and tell them where to go for patterns and instructions.

So Donna's telling us where to go??? LOLOL OH! for patterns and instructions! IT just reminded me of my previous volunteer job. People asked what I did at the desk and I told them "I tell people where to go!" LOL
