What a fab idea to slip some jelly beans into Donna's meds; I think that's just what the doctor ordered! I can say, I LOVE Jelly Beans and thought I had a stash here in my craftroom...nope they are not lost; I ate them already and only found a flattened package ...empty...no jelly beans. boo hoo. *sigh*
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening. I had to call my DD as soon as I got home from work...she lives in the Dallas area...she and her family are okay. She was on her way to work when the first part of the storm came up; at least she pulled into a business and went inside to wait it out; her supervisor called her to let her know everyone was in the storm shelter and for her not to continue on. As soon as the first wave went over she continued to work and found a lot of cars in the parking lot with hail damage and busted windows. The main thing is everyone is okay.
Vickie, so glad DD is okay. I watched that storm on tv all afternoon....and cried a lot. Storms scare me and I hate to see people have to suffer. Just the fear alone can be traumatic.
I am an oddball. I don't like jellybeans (exept for the black ones). My weakness is CHOCOLATE!

Overcast again this morning... I am off to Care Group then to renew my car insurance and finally pick up my C plate for my cuttlebug..... That means going to a craft store, which is rather dangerous for me... so maybe I should go with a list of what I REALLY need..

Good morning Marion! I haven't been in a craft store in over a week!!! It's too dangerous, and I just don't have the money to go looking around. If I need something, I will go, but no more printing out a coupon and running just because I have one!!
I have a bridal shower today to attend, for my future DIL! So I won't be on much today.
Kathy, let me know how that works for ya! That is my "downfall" - have coupon...so I HAVE to go use it! Could be that's why my craftroom is very unorganized right now! Have fun at the bridal shower...how exciting, a future DIL to add to your family.

The shopping went well I did buy a memory box die though.. a smaller swirl, it is called
Elegant Scrollwork....so didn't think that was too bad. Got my C plate so hope that my cuttlebug will last a bit longer.. Guess they don't give the C plate with the machine when you buy a new one.. and the price went up for the plate..

I priced an extended A B C plates to use in the big shot for long thin dies and found it was well over $100 ...... egad, pick me up off the floor, the craft girls can learn to double shuffle with extended cutting plates only!!!
Great cards everyone Lynn, I hear ya, I lost my mojo weeks ago. Now days all I do is work and sleep. Which I am going to go do here in a minute. I need to ask the doc for some pep pills next time I see him. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been scanning pictures this evening; I opened my big mouth and told granddaughter I'd create a scrapbook of her to give to her as a graduation gift on May 26; I will be working on it in all my "spare" time! What was I thinking?!!
Donna, hope you get your energy back; I think the weather has affected everyone's energy and mojo lately. Now they are predicting that we are going to get a freeze tomorrow night and all the trees and plants will be affected.

Find that mojo and give me some, I am cleaning the kitchen, finally moved that big new refrigerator into it's spot, verrrryyyyy nice..... but how did that dirt get everywhere when I moved the old oneout, and how messy it was underneat and behind.....the spiders took up residencethere.....
well nearly finished then I will need shades in there itis so bright and clean!!!

I really need to vacuum, my DD did it the last time.. so am wondering if I can do it now.. I have a carpet sweeper so have been using that....

Dawn, We have so many birthdays in our family that we wrap them into holidays also and celebrate everything together. We really don't have many YOUNG ones that will be here but we will hide those eggs anyway. Occasionally we slip a buck into a few to hype it up a bit. We will have a carry in at my oldest daughters home.
I vote for eating the chocolate! Not really, I didn't even make my famous peanut butter eggs because I knew I would eat them all! I did find the perfect shoes to go with my dress for DS's wedding! THe only thing is, they won't match the dress for niece's wedding, so I am on another shoe hunt!
Morning everyone. Seems you all have busy lives lately. Is that good or bad?
One week left and then done!!!! Well.....kind of anyway. Ok......here's my news, cuz I just don't care anymore who knows and if anyone on here is from this area. They are closing my store after 19 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means no more job for me:( I guess it is true....... "be careful what you wish for". Will still be working after they close it to sell everything off but that won't be for very long. Then I am going to take it easy and collect unemployment. I have never done that before so don't know much about it.
But, I sure hope I can find a job when I want one.
I really have lost my mojo lately, but like I said, I will get all the cards done. Lauren's with the sewing, and Kathy's paper piecing. Oh my goodness........another Sunday is coming up fast. I am going to be so totally behind:(

Good morning! Me, too, Donna, I'm a bit behind too, but I do plan to do the sewing card (my new stooges stamp is on its way to me and that's the stamp I'm going to use 'cause those stooges just keep me in "stitches!"), the paper piecing card, and whatever challenge card is posted on Sunday; just need to find the time!
I'm fixing the "full-meal deal" for family dinner for Easter Sunday; will have at least 10 here for dinner after Church. I always go overboard with the food but we have lots of leftovers! I'll start cooking tomorrow.
I plan to work on a couple swaps today and scan more pictures for DGD scrapbook that I shoulda been workin' on years ago, but no, not me, I wait until a month before graduation to pull it together!
Donna, so sorry to hear about the closing and eventual job loss. Will keep you in thoughts and prayers that an even better job opportunity will come your way.

Glad Donna finally spilled the beans cause I was wondering what this secret was. I thought someone was pregnant! It's good that you could hang in there long enough to collect unemployment.
I am making Easter dinner, but only for DH and both DS's! We will eat about 4 because youngest DS has to work Sunday night. I am just glad to have them both here at the same time and feel like a family for a little while. Youngest moved out a year ago and gets married in June. Oldest still lives here, but is gone most of the time. He's a trucker. It's nice to have him around when we need help as we get old and feeble! LOL....I am making ham, mashed potatoes and baked corn. Not sure of the rest of the meal.
Going out later to find that other pair of shoes! I am having such a hard time. The dress is like watercolors of blue, green and yellow so I went through all my SU paper and buttons and ribbon to see what matches so I can take it along!!!! If the clerk asks what color I am looking for I tell them something between a marina mist and baja breeze!! LOL I also tell them I want a shoe that won't kill me! Have you see the heels on most of the shoes nowdays??? I have osteporosis and a fall from that height could break my hip!
