Kathy Thanks for the update.. Thanks to Lynn for all the tutorials she has been finding..
I hope to get my card posted today....such as it is!! My mision is to get my Christmas cards made this week but, (there is always a but...lol...) I keep getting interrupted.... in a good ways mind you except it is sort of frustrating....
OH, I hope they get their power back on soon or have some place they can go.
Lynn, is the best at finding things we need. That is why we love her so much.....well, that and so many more reasons.
Marion, hope you get to get some crafting time in. I have most of my cards done for Xmas but need to make a few more, just don't have the mojo to work on Christmas cards right now.
Dang that other grandmother, she was suppose to have the little one this week, but backed out. Now I hear she will take them next week. Yeah right, won't be counting on that. She backs out alllllllll the time.
EVERYONE........have a great Wednesday. Tonight is Trick or Treat here
Here it is. I got the idea from Pinterest Question though... When taking an idea from there or a magazine etc do you have to mention where or who it came from... ???? I know it is nice to recognize the originator but wondered where or if it was ok to just use it?? Hope I make sense....
Marion, you HAVE to tell us what blog you found that from. If you found it on Pinterest, it will have the name of the blog on it. I love that card and you did a fantastic job creating it.
It is nice that you lke the card and I did find it on Pinterest and the only name I could find was Eddie Patrick. There is no pattern on pinterest so I just made my own. Never thought to see if there was a blog..
I have a found a few cards that I like and snother person that posts a few is Diane Frericks.. I willl have to check if she has a blog I have saved about 4 of her Christmas cards already.... I made one for my Christmas Card Challenge and it is in my gallery.. I really like it,,,, So I think I have to go check some blogs... Duh what a wonderful idea...lol.....
Marion to find the source of the card you like.... where it originally came from.
Click on the image when you find it..... when it opens big, click on it again and it should take you to the web site it came from. Or the website might be listed below the image.
Hope this helps.... I like to see the other work that the person who made the card has.
Not all links are right on Pinterest, but most are.
wooohoooo...Lynn is in da house!! Lynn is conspiciously hiding from making PINK Christmas cards! BAD Lynn!! But I did make a manly man card and will need to upload it. Have soup in the pot ....so thick you can stand a spoon up in it!.. It will cool over night then get frozen...I freeze small amounts and then add water to make it like soup instead of stew...saves room in the freezer...and cause that's as big as my crock pot can fit!! LOLOLOL
So if I see something else that could be fun should I post it here???
Well of course post all your good stuff. That is how we learn things. I am so into making jewelry, mainly pendents and brooches. If anyone has any ideas please pass them along. I am also trying air dry clay.
LOVE LETTERS TO YOURSELF
This is taken from a love letter (a gentle reminder)
I wrote to myself recently.
Live in your joy today.
Be authentic. Love yourself. First.
Love others from your own abundance.
Life Changes. Circumstances change.
Sometimes you try to fit your old way
of being into new circumstances
rather than becoming new yourself.
Embrace transformation as an opportunity.
And keep on writing love letters to yourself.

but in having new eyes.

doesn't mean they've gotten lost.

Ohhhhh, I like that tooooooo Lynn, where did you buy the pendent block thingy at? Can you get them at like Hobby Lobby and Michaels?
