Need banners or labels? Make your own by using your corner punches. The deco corner, my favorite, and the lace corner uses 7/8" strip. Pansy and loop corner use 1 1/8" strips. Nice thing about these is you can make them as long or short as you need to stamp your design. I also like layering them. I don't have a lot of designs so you go play, now you have the idea and have fun.
I had to stop and go play with this idea. Fun, fun.
All of my corner punches looked great using the smaller size. Looks like one could also trim the V shape (like on the pansy) back after punching it out. It would make the label more narrow...just depends on the look/size wanted.
Deco fan is a fav. The spider web looks good too. One of the snowflake corner punches turned out much like your top example. Rounded with kind of a rick-rack edge.
There are many corner punches that I know would look good this way but you have to stop buying at some point when you have to fit your bed into the room horizontally. Agree?

Thanks for your brilliant idea. You have just save me money as I was thinking I needed to buy some label dies. Now I will have to think of something else to spend that money on.

Wait, I'm still thinking...
Maybe why I also subbed to the punch storage idea thread?
Great idea! I also saw another cool idea. I can't remember where, but I'll try to describe it. Make an inch or 1 1/2 inch square of cardstock or DP. You will probably need a pair of tweezers to help you hold your square of cardstock. Punch each corner with your corner punch. You will have a neat medallion. As far as the size of your initial square, I found that you have to experiment a little with it. The tutorial I saw used a 1inch square, but I found that with the punch I had, it was too small. Have fun!
Awesome idea. TFS! Here's another idea for using those corner punches by Becca of AmazingPaperGrace.com which she calls "right angle punching". Pretty cool too.
Oh my - I have lots of Martha edge punches but no corner punches. What to do... What to do... A trip to the local craft store sounds in order, I think.
Wow! This is really awesome!! Thank you SO much!!

Thanks for all the comments. If you don't have corner punches only border punches if you turn the borders over and align your strip with one section and punch it out, many borders will still work. Since there are more borders than corners your options have now grown.
Speaking of re-purposing punches take a loot at my previous post: Hidden design in around the border punch. you can find hidden bunnies and carrots here.
Will someone please tell me what TFS means? I am totally blogging illiterate. Thanks.
