Congrats Michelle! Now that my room is finished, I will have to pay more attention to the challenges. I am somewht confused between this thread and some others.:confused:

Thank you everyone for your kind comments on my room. I really am enjoying it. Don't want to do anything else but be down here!

Unually I just come down in the evenings and work while DH watches sports in the other room. Real easy to go over and see when he yells "come look at this replay," etc. Same thing when I make something, take it over and show him. Pretty good set up.

I have a question. If I do the sketch challenge that was issued in Jan. , but in Feb, do I get in a drawing? Or do I have to do a Feb challenge for Feb? LOL I am sorry for being such a dork about all this.

Congrats Michelle!

My updated totals are in my sig. I finished a month of my card-a-day challenge and blog! I am psyched.

On the downside, big spree at the M store last weekend so I'm back in the hole, but not too far down. And my points from exercising/losing weight in January: $0!!! Pretty pathetic. Wish I loved getting up and moving as much as I love sitting down and reading or crafting.

but on the plus side, I think this month's card production surpasses all of last year already!

And I'm looking forward to doing more challenges. I have been in the habit of checking and often doing the scheduled daily challenges that have their own threads/links in the forum overview, but haven't checked in here enough, otherwise I would have been able to submit to both the handwriting challenge and the challenge from last Monday. I love sketch challenges!

I added some incentives to my list of things I pay myself for. Making a gift for someone from my card supplies: $2.00. Mailing out a card to someone: $.50 And I'm about to start trying to sell some cards (since I have a HUGE stack of Valentine cards now) and will give myself $1 to spend for every card sold.

Enough fiddling around here, I got some crafting to do!

I racked up some earnings last night. I had a demonstrator meeting today with my upline and we were swapping too. I ended up making 19 cards last night. I made 10 of one card, eight of another and one of a third card. I'll post links when I get them uploaded.

Yeah, Michaels was absolutely NUTS Saturday. Gail said Friday was a nightmare. They thought they were going to need traffic control in the parking lot! LOL They caught the booboo with corporate as soon as they realized it wasn't a forged coupon LOL

First off, you can't be a dork.. that's VikkiJo's proud crown :-D

And you can do the challenges any time. But to qualify for the drawing, they have to be done in that month. So February is starting with new challenges and new chances to win something.

Michelle will be taking care of the Feb. prize package for me this time around :-) And I know how she packs a package so you might want to do ALL the February challenges and watch for any BONUS points available on a challenge. Without looking at the list, I can't remember if there are any for this month or not.

I know the spending spree. I just got home from 2 days in the city. Though, aside from some paper - and most of that was for a altered swap I'm in - I only purchased what I needed (except for 4 $1 stamps)

oooh, that would make an awesome Halloween card. You could even emboss the Tangerine Tango with the spider web folder. hmmmm, now I need to go make a card but will have to wait until tomorrow. BTW, I've decided that card is one for my workshops this month.

I want you to think about the 8 basic colors in a box of crayons. Nope.. I'm not telling you what they are LOL

But I do want you to use AT LEAST 5 of them on your card.

Kelly, in case you don't know yet, Concord Crush will disappear May 31st. The five 2010-2011 In Colors retire then. BTW, SU's new catalog period will be June 1-May 31 beginning this year.

It's the first time I tried the melted crayon technique with the darker colors. I've done it with the lighter more transparent colors and then only with colors that compliment each other. It did turn out well, but a lot more vibrant than I had anticipated.

Well, thanks to scrapbooking challenges, and VSN and all the other challenges, I am now out of the red! I updated my totals in my siggy. Makes me feel so good. I think by keeping track, it is making me do more!
