Challenge Title:HOPE~Having Only Paper Embellishments
Hostess: Sewsplendidstamper AKA Victoria
Keyword: HYCCT1104
Date: Tuesday, October 4, 2011
HOPE. We all need it. We all need to share it. Share some hope today with your card made solely of paper. Yep, no ribbon, no buttons, no brads, no bling.
BUT, if you can make it out of paper you can use it. Paper flower? Perfect! Paper buttons? Go for it! Or just keep it simple.
You may color your images and use ink in any way you see fit.
Happy stamping. Thank you for joining my challenge.

Just up my street. And an early post too, but I still think I'd better tidy my desk first. Getting my cards made so far into cello bags with envelopes can wait till this evening...

No non-paper embellishments should have been no problem - till it came to making a centre for the Primas. How is it that you can make ten cards that would fit a challenge without trying, and then you come to make one for the challenge and it throws you a curve ball?
When I first read this challenge, I thought, Oh, easy one! But it's lots harder than what I thought it would be! LOL! I still want to add something to this, haha! But here it is:
LOVE the acronym! I enjoyed making this card! I think I will make a few more...but I would like to get a better stem stamp...I had to mask the leaves etc etc....to get just the right amount of stem and in the end...I am not sure the stems even look very good!
So are we allowed use Glossy Accents on our paper embellishments? I keep thinking of things like faux brads, and I'd give paper beads another shot (except that I'd need twine or something to attach those, so maybe not...).
This is the first challenge I have done for the Hope you can Cling to forum. This card came together very easily for me and I am very happy with the results.
I'm scurrying to keep up! This one was hard for me so I cheated and simply used an an old scrapping kit from SU! Makes for a quick and easy card. Here's my I Am Blessed.
