I've been gone for a couple of days? Do the daily challenges have dates they need to be done by or is the Nov 7th cut off date for every challenge? Thanks.

I'm having a lot of fun and as of this evening I'm up to date on challenges. I was very proud to send off a package of 50 cards last Friday. I'm new to this, so I'm curious. Is someone counting the cards that come in and do they have a goal? It would be nice to see a running total, maybe another forum thread. Also, since this was done last year, do you have an idea of the demand for cards? Thanks,
Debby
Can we send them with "Merry Christmas" on them??? I made a card for the "hanging item" and it has "Merry Christmas from our house to yours" on it.......and then I couldn't remember if we were permitted to send Christmas cards.
I have just discovered this wonderful challenge, as, obviously, I have been living under a rock.
But what a great cause, and some wonderful prizes too!
One question that I couldn't find an answer to reading through most of this forum - how are the prizes awarded?
Is there a judging panel who selects their favorites? If so, is it on the overall submission, or challenge by challenge? Or is it all random?
Just curious so I can adjust my optimism accordingly.

Our grand prizes - the higher value prizes - are done in a random drawing of participants who have made one card for each challenge.
Billions of other prizes are done in random drawings of people who participated in any number of our challenges.
Additionally, I'm having our partner at MD Anderson choose a few cards throughout the month of the ones they are receiving for prizes - their staff chooses a few - I got my first group of those today so I will award a prize or two tomorrow.
Hey! I have looked and can't find the answer.....I know that some cards that are sent in are being pick for prizes, how do we note that they are our cards? Do we put our names on them or is it just because of the envelope they come out of?!
I am wondering...I know it says no religious sentiments...what about an angel image? is that ok? The card will just say 'thinking of you' or something like that!
Where do you go to find out who's won prizes so far (if anyone has)? Also - I'm confused about the spreedsheet. Do you have to use it? Do you have to post a link to your cards on this spreadsheet to be eligible for the grand prizes? If so, where do you post that once the challenges are all done? Do you copy and paste all of your links somewhere at the end? Confusing!
I plan to send my cards in. But are you entered into the challenges for the prizes simply by entering them here on the website or only if received at the Cancer Center by the 7th of November?
So if you complete "every" challenge and successfully enter them on SCS but for whatever reason they don't all reach the center by the 7th, are you still shown as doing all of them?
I have been keeping my eye open for any new threads posted re prizes but haven't really seen anything. I came across this post and wondered if you had posted the prize winners somewhere else. Can't spend too much time in the threads 'cause I'm making cards Have to upload yesterdays and then am on to today's! Thanks Lydia!

I would also like to know where we can find the winners so far too! I keep seeing the question asked but I never see a posted response where the winners are! I've looked, just don't know if I am looking in the wrong place!
Hi Lydia - I am having problems with the master list you have provided. I can't open it. Also, when we update it will it be going somewhere online or just in the doc that gets saved on our hard drive. Help!

I haven't drawn for any prizes yet (I'm torturing you ) so you haven't missed anything!
Harriet I'm not sure why you can't open it - I saved it so that older versions of Excel could open it. What happens when you try?
I finally got it opened - for some reason I kept getting Adobe Illustrator trying to open the .xls file. So I see where to put in my links for each challegnge. What do we do with our copy of the updated spreadsheet? Will we be sending it in to you? Posting it somewhere? Not sure how that part works.

Okay, I looked around, and I'll admit I skim, but when does everything have to be uploaded? It's not that I'm too lazy to look for it, I'm just blind!!!

I just want to be sure that I have the correct deadline for making cards that will be entered for prizes. Do I have until Nov. 7th to post all of the cards for all of the challenges?
I think I'll be done prior to that, but I just want to be sure.
Thanks, Lydia......One more question, because I can't find it in this thread. When is the drawing for prizes? I see some prizes have already started and I'm assuming those are the ones for sending cards in early, correct?
