I sent you a p.m.
Even if I'm too late for the Trevor stamp, I'd like to make your grandma a tea cup card. Last month I bought a tea cup set on eBay and have been looking forward to using it.
BTW ... my mom is 72, pushing 73, and she'd reach up (she's 4' 11") and smack her grandkids silly if they called her "granny". LOL

Ahh... well, my mom doesn't have great-grands yet ... despite my oldest being 32 and my youngest 24. My niece is getting serious about her beau, maybe they'll turn my mom into a "granny".
I think it's great that your grandma spends time with you, especially since she lives in Brrrrrrville during the winter.

Hahha. Yeah, she rotates, My Mom's in brrville, usually in the warmer months, My Aunt's in AZ in the coldest months, and then us during the rest of the months. Though she skipped most of my Aunts last year to avoid the family drama that was happening there... so we had her longer. She likes it with me best! hehe. But I lived with her as a kid, and I was her caregiver in High School/College.
My Granny is more than a few Greats.... I think 17! 2 from me.

Rachel if you PM your Granny's address I'd be happy to send her a card. I've lost both my Grands in the last couple of years, and would love to send a card to someone else's.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. No matter what our circumstances or the hardship we are going through right now, we can all find something to be truly grateful for. I am thankful for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As the song says..."Amazing Grace...how sweet the sound...that saved a wretch like me." Amazing Grace for us all. God bless you all as you celebrate today.

BABY GIRL BRADS
This set contains two of each of the images you see here, so you are getting six brad sets. They are high quality metal brads.
The teddy bear is about 1 3/4" tall so that gives you an idea of the size of the different brads.
Would like to send this set to someone in the U.S. who has not received from me yet.
Please PM with your name and address.

Melissa, I mailed Trevor today. Sorry for the delay... it has been a rough holiday!! My Granny fell the day before thanksgiving and thought she may re fractured her hip. My brother and sister came down on thanksgiving... they are 15 and 16 and live with her at my moms where she fell!! So we were all very worried. I will feel lots better when she is back here! And my Daughter turned 3 today and we had her party on Saturday, so it has been busy busy. I am going to through my room today. I have lots to pass forward.

Rachel, is your granny in the hospital or is she recuperating at your mom's house?
What did the docs say? Is it a break? It sounds like she's fractured her hip before. That can be quite serious.

I know there is a thread for this, but I'm posting here because I spend so much time on this thread. I know that there are greater needs than my request. I'm not going through the emotion of having lost a loved one or a desperately ill family member, BUT... PLEASE PRAY that it doesn't flood our house again. Our city has just put out a Flood Warning for our area. Our home has been flooded twice in the last four years.
The first one totaled our two used vehicles [they were in our garage] and we had to rip our house out to the studs...flooring and walls and everything. We lost so much and had to live with my sis and her husband for months till we moved back into our home. I had to toss TONS of stamping supplies because of the flood waters. We had insurance on the structure, but not our contents.
We are older now and do not want to have to go through this again. Three of the homes on our street have had their foundations raised by cinder blocks FOUR HIGH in order to protect them from flood waters. The next street over has had five homes raised and two homes razed. Know what I mean?
We can't sell our home, no one wants to live here. The first one was what they called a "100 year flood." Well, they just keep happening, probably because of all the building going on in our county.
Oh, dear...I'm rambling. The river is supposed to crest on Wednesday morning. I'm going to log off and go try to clean up my stamp room and get everything off the floor. LOL...that will take all morning. PLEASE pray for a hedge around our city and that the rain will disappear. I don't want anyone to have to go through this again.
Many thanks,
Beverly

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. I have almost everything off the floor...had to take breaks...have been having health issues the last six weeks. Anyway, you should see my table...piled a mile high. But, it will be easier going from this point because I won't have to do any bending over or sitting on the floor to sort.
The latest from the National Weather Service is that the river will crest late this afternoon instead of tomorrow. They expect it to crest at 12.5 feet which is just below the "major" flood category. It should start going down Thursday morning.
I got in my car and drove down to the "creek." It is one street over from our house. [Not to be confused with the river which splits the town in half.] I saw some of the Toledo TV station's vans...one near the creek and the other was parked at the end of our street. They had the camera out and were interviewing one of the neighbors. That alone made me nervous!
Anyway, it's been raining all day and I sure wish it would stop. They are calling for snow and that would really help. We only had flooding in our garage and half bath in March of this year because the weather turned cold and the water froze before it could get into the main floor of the house. [Unlike August 2007]. Sooo, I am praying for COLD weather.
Sorry to go off-topic on the thread, but I was so anxious this morning!
Also...my BABY GIRL BRADS have been spoken for.
