I've got my B side done and will have to duplicate everything on the A side now. I hope I can remember all the bevels/drop shadows/outlining I did so they look similar!

Terry if it's very similar (like mine are) what I did was after I saved it I would save it again as the next name and just delete what I didn't need on the next page. For instance, after I saved A I then saved it as B and then made my changes.

Yes...I should have done it that way but I opened up both pages at the same time. Maybe I'll reopen the pictures and then "reverse" the whole thing. I've done that before with one of my Disney layouts so I'll have to give it a try. DH and DGS came home already (without a Rita's treat for me :( ) and so now I need to get DGS to bed otherwise I'll get absolutely no peace!
Of course when you are in the middle of a challenge, that's when you hit the technical problems!
My printer decided to 'cark' it and then I had issues with my recipe database and had to get geek in to fix all the bugs. Bless his cotton socks. (On his birthday, too. I *should give him a day off from fixing things!)
So A & B done. Can I move onto C & D and upload it all later? Sure hope so! Gotta keep going while the mojo is flowing! ETA: Psssht - If I re-read the rules, I'll see I have till next Sunday to upload. Delete that last para! ;)

You sound like you are having fun! Yes, move on to C&D and upload when you can! I love your "bless his cotton socks". I am so glad your mojo is flowing! Tell your husband Happy birthday from the scrapbookers at Splitcoast!
Ok, just when I thought I had it all together - - - I haven't found "A" and "B" photos that go together so I really can't make a double page spread. Can I still make an "A" page and then make a "B" as long as I follow the 1, 2, 3s? It seems everyone is doing a double page spread.

Ok, just looked again and realize Lela used a double spread but only for one of the letters, and the other letter is not related, do I'm going with my non related photos now.

Yes, yes! I made separate pages as you mentioned! I would have been stuck too Joyce trying to get both letters...it all depends on what you're doing I think! Some of these creative ladies who are scrapping a true "ABC" mini-album do come up with both though ... it's all about having fun so I don't think we're too worried about how you interpret the challenge, we're just glad you're scrapping with us! ;)

Wow - I almost forgot about this I was so excited with our news yesterday... will try to do some and this looks fun but - - - my son got his house loan approved yesterday... he is buying a duplex and I will rent from him. It is going to move so much faster than we thought that I actually need to start preparing to move. Which, leads me to this album. I have like 4,612 (ok maybe not that many) pics of the grandkids framed. I think I will use this opporturnity to scrap most of them instead. I did not scrap when my oldest DGD was born!!!

Great news! AND we can look forward to lots and lots of pages from you with that many pictures
I finished these two pages last night (A- was longer, but B was super quick)
Ran out of juice and photographed them today. Alligator
A return to stamping was good therapy over these past several months. Returning to scrapbooking has been more of a struggle, especially since I've taken so few photos. Burned Out

Here are my pages... they really don't "go" together but... they do use the same layout....
I am scrapping framed pics that used to be on my walls... boy my walls look bare!!
A... And so it begins is my daughters wedding and
B... was suppose to be Baby makes three but I found the Sweet Baby Girl and it fit so...
OK, I have been thinking about how I can join in, but I didn't really want to create an ABC album (that I would never finish). Thanks to the lateral thinking up there - of course, I can just do pages that will fit in any album. It's good when you get your brain around the fact that's what is actually important is getting pages made. THANKS. Now to get on with the creating!

The bottom line is it's all about getting pages done. This is a challenge thead and some people enjoy the challenge and others don't but the goal is the same to have fun while scrapping. So definitely interpret the challenge to suit your needs! We hope to see you at the main even in September. Also, if in the future you decided you like the ABC album idea, save this linkfor inspiration.
Also, be sure to check out the Goals Thread. This is where many of us 'hang' out to share and chat and get inspired...all at our own pace.
Each challenge has a Gallery link in the descriptive. Please click on it periodically to see what everyone has created and to leave some luv...enjoy and thanks for stopping by! (check the Master Thread for quicker access ;-))

Did you guys know you can copy styles from one item to another -- even on different pages? It's not always the solution to certain problems, but is very helpful to know!
If you want to do it from one page to a second page:
Open both pages (Ido this by clicking: Window/Images/Float All in Window)
Once you have the two pages open:
Click on the page which has the item with the style you want to copy.
On the layers panel on right of screen, right click on the center part (not the icon to right) of the layer of item whose style you want to copy.
Select "Copy Layer Style."
Now switch to the page that holds the item you want to add the style to.
In the layers panel on right of screen right click middle of the layer you want to add style to.
Select "Paste Layer Style."
You should now have duplicated the style.
You can also do this on items (layers) on your same page. I use it a lot for alphas and such.
I know this works for drop shadow, bevel, stroke and glow. Not sure about other styles.
did i do it right? i did yipee! Now to figure out how to get it into the proper place with the proper coding. *sheesh* i'm so tech stoopid.
i also realized i am doing a minimalist look with these pages. hhhmmm

Hope this works...
Trying to link my completed pages.
Maybe I should read the "Manual". ;)
They linked to the thread but they are not in the Gallery. If you want to Upload so they are in the Gallery with the others you will need to:
1) Reduce your photo in .jpeg to 650 pixels (you can do it in other formats too but that's the one I use)
2) Click on the left UPLOAD A CARD (after you Upload another form will show up for you to fill out)
3) Fill out the details & be sure to use the proper KEYWORD
This is the condensed version. Wendy has posted the instructions over in the Scrapbook Goals Thread in post #247.
When it's linked into the Gallery, others can leave you fun loving comments :-)

Your pages are SCRUPDILLIUMPTIOUS!!!! I sooooo love this idea. I actually think down the line I may do this with family favorite recipes that I could give to my daughters when they are older and ready to leave the nest ;-) Might even be a great bridal shower gift! Fortunately they are 16 & 12 so I have a few years until I'd need it to give to them ;-)
