Still editing and cleaning up my craft room. I think this is my favorite furniture set up yet...so that's a good sign :-)
Would you come do mine? I have a little paper grid on which I am going to cut out furniture to size and play with it. But I am afraid I am a IRL person, have to see it for real, not on a little piece of paper. After VSBN, I will begin to take everything out of my craft room so I can paint. Then re-organize everything. I have some racks that a friend brought me from IKEA for my punches. So, I have to have it right before DH hangs those!

Is anyone else having a slow SCS day??? Not the day for me to run into problems, grrrrrr!
I've spent the last 2 hours uploading photos to WalMart to print. Its harder work than actually making the pages! GRRRRR!
I've taken many pics to Target to get them copied (old family pictures and ones still on the camera) - they've gotten it done quickly. My DH & I had to do the pictures when we started selling his mother's house, and had no problems.

I'm home and ready to get started on Chantsie's great M & N page challenges! WalMart only took 30 minutes to print my pics - yay! But I snuck in a nice visit with my dear daughter at the bookstore AND picked up some groceries at WalMart while we were there, so its all good!
Off I go down to my crafty corner to get to work on the M page...can't wait! I was worried that the pics I chose for the pages might not fit the challenges, but turns out it works out just fine! ;)
Hi all! Bama won so tv watching is over with. Now I'm in my craft room making a brag book.....waiting on the next challenge. I'm not making an ABC book, but I'm getting lots of ideas from the 123's!
We are finally home from the fair. The performances went real well. I was supposed to be videoing the performances on my new camera and something went wrong and I completely missed the first dance. Ugh! Of course it the only dance DD2 was in. way to go Mom! I'm hoping one of the other parents recorded it and I will add it to the others on the DVD.
My printer has 'died' part way through printing. DH looked up the manual and says it is something to do with a broken carriage. ugh.
Thankfully, I have another colour printer in the office. So a little inconvenience running from my craft room to the office to do printing but at least I can still print!! Otherwise, it would be a catastrophe!
I have finished the M & N challenge within the time frame but will stop for breakfast before starting O & P. And I haven't even checked in to see what we have to do for Q & R! eeek!
Dh is slacking off. He usually feeds me during my scrappy challenges. I need to go crack the whip! ;)

Can't wait to see them! It will probably be tomorrow as I am going to bed soon.
All my pages are completed. We've had rain and icky weather today, so I'll wait for some morning sun tomorrow to take photos and upload.
Please forgive me, but tomorrows' challenges will be my Monday and unfortunately, I need to work. I'll do my best to complete as much as I can tomorrow evening and set myself 2 hour targets for completion of my layouts.
Tuesday, I'll be busy organising an AGM for our local Chamber of Commerce, of which I am President and outgoing, so there'll be lots to get through. I will definitely upload any outstanding layouts by the cut-off date.
Today has been awesome! Thanks for the challenges and the opportunity to 'step outside my comfort zone'. Personally, I like my pages and am planning to scan and make cookbooks of my completed project to give to my 5 kids for Christmas. All the recipes that I am doing are ones I do on a regular basis. Not all recipes are visible as I've done them on cards and hidden them behind photos. If anyone wants anything in particular, just ask and I'll send the recipes to you.
Phew, long post. Just wanted to say I have had a ball! And I better make a habit of hanging around. You guys rock! :cool:

Time for coffee and breakfast then hit the crafty corner to work on Q and R. I checked on the S and T assignment and realized I needed to change up some pictures to fit the challenges!
I was so tired yesterday but when I went to bed I couldn't get to sleep until midnight! Uggghhhh, hormones bite the big one ;-) Anyway, slept late today and promised DH I'd go cycling with him (I don't do well in the humidity so let's all say a quick prayer ;-)). After I return I will be living in my craft room getting caught up...

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to play hooky most of the day. Mom my is returning to AZ after being with one of my sisters in NY for the summer. We just found out she needs us to pick her up at the airport, so we're heading out in a few mins. and will be with her until later this afternoon (it's 12: 30 pm here.) Soooo, my best laid plans have been foiled. I have my P page done (actually it's an 8x8 dps). I'll try and take pics right now so I can post when I get home later. Have fun, ladies!!

Nup. Unacceptable. See, that right there? You TOLD us you were playing hooky. "Back in the day" when I played hooky (called "wagging" in Australia), I didn't tell anyone. I just did it.
If you're telling us, then we'll need a note from your parents, explaining your absence. Possibly a Dr's Note, if you then tell us you have a 'tummy ache'. ;)

I'm enjoying looking at all the pages. I did a few, and was ready to start some more. But then I got distracted...short attention span, y'know. I started to scrap something for one set of letters, and realized that the topic actually will need it's own album, so that was the end of my participation.
I realized I need a good method to organize my pix, which led to a phone call to DS photographer and reading online reviews. etc etc etc.
Thanks so much to all of you who did the work to put together this great weekend. I will probably come back to it all later on to do some more, even though it's outside of deadlines etc. That's one lovely thing about this process- the ideas and challenges remain available.
Ditto Elaine's thanks to all the "Teachers" this weekend! I've had a blast! I am nearly done 21 pages - just have H, W, X, Y and Z left to do this week.
One of the things this album has helped me attack was my need to scrap in a chronological process. That is impossible to do with the letter challenges!
I also really enjoyed digging into the paper stash, but I do definitely think I'm a quicker worker with digi scrapping! I've done a few hybrid pages in my past, but have never actually completed them by putting the physical embellishments on...MY BAD! LOL
Anyway, thanks again for the fun! I will be thinking and planning those last few letters tomorrow I"m sure, as I re-visit the forum to remind myself what the challenge entails. I have H and W all ready to go!

Wow! So great to hear that we helped you break out of your 'in order' mode! What I did in my ABC was mix the photos. In fact on my X page, I used several baby photos, not even sure on two of them which one it is! LOL
When DD comes at Christmas she will help me with some of them, and dates! I just used them from all years and mixe them even on pages. They were just leftovers. why do I print so many!! Well, now, some of them, DD mailed me, so then I have them that I didn't put in my albums. Also, my ABC book doesn't have much with them older, because I haven't scrapped them yet in my big albums!
I am all done! Love my book, and can't wait for Grandkids and DD see it.
Even Grandpa likes it!
I wanted to jump in here to quickly say thank you for such a great challenge! Unfortunately, due to the time differences and my work load, I haven't had a chance to finish my last 4 pages. I will be heading into my craft room soon to finish them off while Geek is playing golf. It was scrapping or gardening on a gloomy day. Which would YOU choose? :p
