Default Brilliance Ink Pads

Has anyone tried the Brilliance ink pads esp. the pearlescense ones? What do you think of them.

I've been using them for years and love them.

They're lovely - it's a subtle shimmer from the pearlescent ones but it definitely has a sheen to it. The Sky Blue and Orchid are especially pretty for "traditional" baby colours and I love the Coffee Bean and Ivy ones for earthy tones. I use the Graphite Black pad quite a lot, especially if I'm going to colour with Copics.

The little dew drop pads are great - plenty of ink and really easy to do selective inking on stamps because of the pointed shape. Most of my Brilliance colours are in the dew drop format (less storage space and more colour vareity for your money!).

It's good opaque coverage and pretty good on retaining detail.

HTH!

Love them! Lots of juicy ink that separates whether an ink pad is good or not.

I have all of them in the dew drops and love them a lot! They stamp beautifully and dry pretty quickly for a pigment ink. It has such a pretty shimmer too. The lids stay nice and tight so they don't dry out either. Definitely recommend trying out a 4-pk and seeing how you like it!

One other nice thing about them is they work on acetate as long as you heat set them.

Also, if you use them to stamp on shrink plastic, they set as the plastic shrinks and you can get some really cool effects.

Here's a project I made using brilliance inks. I took a closeup of the shimmer if you'd like to see what it looks like.
