Laurie, your roses are beautiful. I have seen my DD whip those out left and right. Before becoming the bakery manager, she was the main cake decorator. Have to have strong hands. Your cup cakes looks delicious! TFS :0)

Visited DD's horse, Max on Friday. I took him out of his pen, put him in the big arena where I "rolled" him. Okay, I didn't roll him, he immediately dropped to his knees and rolled himself. It was a site to been seen. According to DD, he loves it! Check out my photos. Thanks again to everyone for ALL the wonderful cards. :0)

This is soooo funny...Max looks like he's having a lot of fun. He's a beautiful horse. I'm sure Jessica will be riding him in no time..I was so happy for her when I heard she got to go home.
I've just been going through all the photos, videos and posts since it's been such a long time since I last popped in! So nice to see a slice of eveyone's life...
I brought some cupcakes to share - learned how to use fondant yesterday. Oh what fun!!! I still cannot believe that I - me - made this rose out of icing. Wonders never cease
Okay, Martha Laurie Stewart! Those are incredible! Amazing! Wowza.....I need to come to this thread more often to see! You talent is not limited to making wonderful cards that is for sure! I am so impressed! Never could I pop that in my mouth!!!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'
Keep that Maxey Rollin'
Wasn't that the theme song to some Western? It popped into my head the minute I saw these pictures! I am impressed, our horses were also so fat they could never get all the way over! The did half rolls, after a bit of a struggle........Ha!
Picture of the twins- Austin and Sydney, Nico and Gramma Rose
Good Morning too all of you....
I wanted to share an updated photo of the twins - Sydney and Austin - they are now 5 1/2 months old. I looked after them for three days and two nights a couple of weeks ago, had help from my DH and my daughter Kristy - while the twins parents - Kyle and Carlie and their older sister Kayla were in California - Kyle was taking a course for works - So Carlie and Kayla spent some time at Disneyland.
I loved looking after the babies - but it took me a couple of days to catch up on my sleep - and I was physically tire too. lots of walking, rocking, up and down etc..
The first picture is of Austin, Sydney, my grand daughter Nico (Kristy's daughter) and me - The second picture is of Sydney, Cousin Nico and Austin - isn't that just the cutest picture === Gramma Rose ....
Hugs... Pat

Oh!! Pat! These are absolutely ADORABLE!!! Absolutely precious!! The twins are soooo adorable, and Nico too.
Mutnik- Max looks just like a BIG dog rolling in the dirt. That must have felt sooo good for him!! I'm glad that things are going well for Jessica at home, it's so much better than being in a hospital!
Pat- I love the first photo, you certainly have your arms full, with the twins and Nico. Just wait until the twins get mobile! Love the second photo too, all 3 grandchildren are precious! Having the three of them certainly justifies your being sleep deprived and worn out. But it's well worth it!
Oh my word, "Gramma Rose" you gots yourself some darling grand-babies there. Are you sure your old enough to be a grandma? hehe I hear you about the sleep thing. With little ones around, you are on 24-7. These pictures are so sweet! TFS! :0)

I agree with Jennifer...just you wait, those two get mobile and look out! Tee hee! Babysitting will be a challenge then! Ha! Thanks for sharing girlfriend!
Hi Pat - just got back from vacation with TWO of my kids and their families at Disney World - so I understand the exhaustion part totally!! Those grandkids are so adorable - you really had your hands full!! But I bet you soaked up a lot of fun too!!

Mutnik, I just gotta say that your card of Curt and his fruit pie "overindulgence" had me rolling!! It reminded me of one of my favorite songs from a western group Riders in the Sky. Click this link and then listen to #8 Reincarnation and you'll see, I mean hear, what I mean.
Or you can watch and listen to Jim Stafford and Cow Patty here

That is such good news! I know our teapotter cards sure got snagged up...going and coming! Whoot! Hopefully that's not gonna be an issue anymore at least for awhile! Thanks for the update!
Janice, thanks for the huge chuckle. I love Riders in the Sky and that other Cow Patty song was just a hoot! Can't believe what people write and sing about. hehe But then again, I can't believe some of the stuff I have been drawing......like cow poop! I must be getting a little loopy these days without my normal routine. hehe Oh my. :0)
Laurie I hear you on the rolling horses. It amazes me every time I let Max into the big pen he just immediately rolls. Thanks again for the card you are sending to Jessica. Can't wait to see it.
Thanks to EVERYONE once again for all the cards. Sure has made the recovery process go much easier. Plus she has so much to share with visitors who are equally amazed! I will be shooting an up-date to Cindy real soon. Have a great day! :0)

Ok, so silly me uploaded these to the gallery, forgetting I wasn't allowed, so they have been removed {blush} so here they are instead
My neighbour across the road has a teapot garden and scours the Op shops for just that special one she likes to add to her little 'garden'. Being a fan of teapots myself, I have always loved this addition to her garden. Lucky for me, I can see it straight out the front window of my house (which just happens to be my craftroom).
Yay! There you are! Thanks for putting them here so the others can see! I was beginning to think I imagined them in your gallery and even commented on those imaginary uploads! Snort! What fun these are.....
Does she take them in in the winter or leave them out all the time. I am surprised they don't get stolen or broken or sumthin! I betcha if I had a teapot garden, I wouldn't kill them off like I do tomato plants! Snort!
Hey, Janice....you are the observant one! Giggle! Ha!
hahaha you are funny Cindy. Nope they have never been stolen (at least not while I have been here) and Emily broke one ages ago lol. The kids have learned they aren't allowed to touch them. And they stay there all year long. Notice how none of them have faded? That's pretty awesome in itself, as they are exposed to our harsh summer sun the whole of summer and the cold and frosts in winter.
Oh my word, now that's a lot of teapots! I too am amazed that no one bothers them. How cool is that!
Janice way to observant! Love that "special" "tea-totler" teapot! hehe
Hugs!

Laurie......remember this is the world of make believe......the difference is, I didn't make those cookies in the real world, and you do make your cupcakes in the real world! No comparison! Short!
I can well imagine what your Canada Cupcake looks like! Whoot
