When my year old scallop border punch from SU started not cutting all the scallops, I switched to MFT scallop border dies. I was not happy about that punch and I've been leery of border punches ever since. Plus, I'm terrible at getting the darn things to line up! I do have a spider web MS border and corner punch set and I'd consider more of hers but they're so bulky and eat up my limited storage space.

I'm pretty sure that EK Success makes Martha Stewart punches. I don't understand why they don't produce her designs in the compact style. I found that to sharpen a punch you need to open up a soda can (with your tough kitchen scissors, of course) then punch through that metal. It's better than aluminum foil, but may not work on intricate punches. I have a few Fiskars border punches and have had no trouble with them, but find I don't use them often.

My favourite border punch is my Fiskars 'Threading Water' one. It's a scalloped edge with a tiny hole in each scallop.

It's very versatile and will go through Bazzill weigh card. Have used it a lot and it hasn't broken or jammed.
