This may have been answered before-wasn't sure where. Can all of the Big Shot dies fit through the CB? I own the CB and wanted to purchase some of the SU Big Shot dies--like the pillow box, etc...

I've used the Bigz dies thru my CB with no problem. Now that there are the longer plates for the CB, I'm guessing that we can use the bigz XL dies too. At least I hope so. I love my bug, and don't think I'd ever get rid of it unless it breaks. I know alot of people have both, but why have two, when 1 can work ?

All of the dies fit just fine, but the cutting pads are too wide. Nice to know that there are longer plates for the CB now, so I can better answer the question when asked by customers who own one! Thanks!

I did not know that there are longer plates for the CB-where do you purchase those? So, the Big Shot cutting pads won't fit in the CB? Do you mean the thicker dies? Not sure I understand?

what they are talking about is the clear cutting pads....they are too wide for the CB---I had just hear from a friend who sanded the sides of the SU plate down abit to fit the CB machine

OK-so all of the Big Shot dies will fit through the CB-but I will need longer CB clear plates (you mean like the C plate, etc...)?

If you buy the XL dies (matchbox, fancy favor, etc) then you will need different plates. They are too long to use with the standard cut ting plates. It sounds like CB has made their own extended plates now. My mom bought the SU ones and then had my dad trim them down with a table saw so they would fit through her CB. The Originals and Bigs Dies like the pillow box will fit through no problem and use the standard cutting plates.
