Default Holiday CD and DVD (and Wii game) packaging)

I don't know if this will help anyone with holiday projects, but....

Attached are templates to make a holiday CD and DVD (or Wii game) packaging.

Here is the DVD case closed:

There is also a tutorial with pictures on the blog: CD and DVD case

The templates are for the pockets for both the DVD and CD version are attached.

For the CD case the base is made from a piece of cardstock measuring 10 1/2″ long by 5 3/4″ wide. It is scored at 5″ to make the front, then at another half inch to make the box top - and the remaining 5 inches is the box back.

For the DVD case the base of the box is made from a 11″ tall by 5 1/2″ wide piece of cardstock. The base is scored at 2 3/4″ from the top to make the front flap, then scored at another 5/8″ to make the top edge . The rest of the cardstock forms the back of the box.

The pockets made from the templates are then adhered to the bases to make the boxes.
