**Viva la Verve! November Week 3 {11/13/09}**
Hey ladies! I'm sorry I'm late today, got home late last night and didn't have the energy to post...
***For VLV Newbies, here are the deets! Every Friday I will post a new sketch with a {twist}. The {twist} is an extra requirement for your sketch card! Could be an inspiration challenge, a color challenge, a limited supplies challenge, who knows! There is no solid deadline for each sketch, but they DO need to be uploaded to the VLV Gallery by the last week of the month! For November, there will be five sketches and all five sketches must be uploaded by MIDNIGHT CST on 26 November. I will announce the winner on 27 November! Verve stamps are NOT required to play with us but if you have them, please use them, we don't want them getting lonely! What's up for grabs? Well, Verve's ENTIRE next release of stamps!!! So are you ready to play?***
This week's twist is to use this sketch and create a holiday card! By Holiday, I mean one of the fall/winter holidays, not Easter, or Valentines Day, or George Washington's Birthday
Keywords are Verve (if using Verve stamps) and VLVNov03
Hope you enjoy this weeks sketch and twist! Can't wait to see your cards!

The squares reminded me of patchwork quilts, so had to stitch this WINTER CARD.

Hope you get some rest this weekend, Amber! Thanks for another wonderful sketch. Hope to be able to play this weekend. I third the motion of once bitten twice shy on the "no twist to brutal twist" potential here LOL!

Thank you, that's so nice!
It's funny cause I'm starting to feel old myself! There was a captain in here last week (military stuff), I'm enlisted, and he was like 4 years younger than me and waaaaay outranks me, lol! HATE THAT!

Here is my take on this week's sketch. Sorry my Chocolate Chip panels look black - we had a hum dinger of a storm here and it's dark outside!

okay... not sure how you figured out that birth date, except on Amber's blog she turned 29 on 11/5/09.... now, both of you are making me feel old!!!
As well, Marissa, did you notice she was "bragging" on her blog about how tough she was on the 1, 2, 3 challenge!!! LOL!!

Here's my card. This was the first time I knew exactly what I was going to do as soon as I saw the sketch, so this card was super easy for me.

If you want to qualify for the chance to win the entire next Verve release, you need to do every sketch for the given month and have them uploaded to the "Champions Thread" Amber puts up toward the end of each month. Otherwise, you can do how ever many you want to/can get to. They are fabulous sketchs - enjoy

Hey Tracy! Welcome!!! So glad you stumbled upon us Thank you Marisa for pointing her in the right direction! Marisa is 100% correct! In order to qualify for the grand prize, you have to complete all four sketches, but if you don't want to compete for that, there are no rules, and no time lines! Just have fun Hope you come hang out with us more often!
