For everyone who submitted cards: Thank you for continuing to support CAS! Without you, there would be no need for a design team every season. You're awesome! And I know you're disappointed. I've been there myself many times. The scores were really close... just like I expected. Don't give up! We will be doing this again in February for the Spring season. (Can you believe it's going to be 2010 already?!?)

It seems a little early, but since we have a long holiday weekend here in the states at the end of the month, I'm starting our DT search early.
Please read the directions. If you find any obvious mistakes or have questions, please send a friendly PM.
Here's what's happening:
1. I will post 3 challenges: sketch, inspiration, & theme.
2. You can do any or all of the challenges. Combining challenges is allowed!
3. You can make as many cards as you like. Please post them with the listed keywords... and in this thread just in case the gallery is being finicky.
(Since the keywords are long, consider copying/pasting.)
4. You will have until Sunday, November 29 at noon (your time zone) to upload your cards.
5. Design team members must be able to post challenge sample cards on Sunday nights between 10:00 - 11:00 PM EST.
6. Having experience posting threads is not mandatory, but it is helpful. We can teach you. (This would be needed if I am unable to do it for some unexpected reason.)
7. You should be a regular CAS player to participate. This caused some concern last time. Don't over-think this.

It's a year round Christmas store with a lot of history. It now offers "Hallmark" holidays, too. This place is huge! It has even become a tourist attraction. (I live about 2 hours away!)
Be prepared to browse awhile! There is something for everyone.

More Details
1. The challenges close on Sunday, November 29 at noon your time.
2. The past & current DT members have been invited to help choose the new Design Team.
3. We are expecting a large turn-out because so many wonderful stampers have discovered the fun craft of clean & simple stamping! And we have a larger number of judges which will take time to coordinate. The new team will be notified no later than Saturday, December 5, and given the first challenge for Monday, Dec. 7. After that, the new DT will have time to plan the rest of the season. After all new DT members have been notified, I will reveal the winners in this DT challenge thread.
4. The Winter Design Team season will run from Monday, December 7, 2009 - Monday, February 22, 2010
5. Please remember to keep your cards clean and simple!

Can I play in the challenges if I don't want to be on the DT? Yes, please play along! Just note in your comment section and here when linking your card that you're just playing for fun. Some of the DT and I will also be playing just for fun!
Sometimes people don't have the commitment during a particular season, or they feel they are not ready, and probably a few other reasons. And I respect the decisions people choose for themselves.
