This is what I found...To backup/restore a slice card, you have to create an ISO of the SD card the iso must include the MBR (master boot record) the reason for this is because the machine checks the volume serial number located in the MBR as a security measure.
Also, the Volume Name must stay the same as well (its the name of the drive in Windows Explorer when you mount the SD card)
You follow those 2 rules, then you can successfully backup slice cards.
I printed these instructions out, but do not understand them. What is the ISO and how do you find it and use it?? I bought several Slice cards a few years ago when they were going out of business. I very seldom ever use my Slice machine, the cuts just never seemed to be nice and clean like my Cricut machines. I have the hands free magnetic tool, as well as the large cutting board. Anyway, I would like to try using it again, and backing up the cards I have sounds like a good idea. Thank you for any help !
I have given up on my Slice since I converted to the cricut two years ago, and I just came across it and many accessories and carts that I would love to give away. Just pay postage. Here's what I have:
Slice Inspirations project cards
Basics drawing tips (set of 4)
12" glass magnetic mat with magnetic cuff that goes on slice
a very dusty pink slice that may or may not work
2 sets of blades (one pink, one teal)
Cartridge carry case filled with the following cartridges - basics 1, basics 2, basic elements, (note)worthy, wedding, words & expressions, calendar, greetings, paws & claws, noel, happy trails, studio essentials, words & expressions holidays, fa la la, seasons, and remember this.
Please help me get this out of my house so I don't have a constant reminder of how much I spent!
I would love the wedding, paws and claws, calendar and the teal blades if you don't mind splitting this up. I would understand if you only want to ship it all to one person.
I don't use my Slice a lot but I do use it. I never had some of the issues others had.
Thank you for your generous offer! Like Lilyzee, I've had good luck with my Slice. I already have a number of the items. If you're willing to split things up, I'd love to have the pink blades, drawing tips, cartridge case and the following cartridges; (note)worthy, words & expressions, greetings, noel, studio essentials, words & expressions holidays, fa la la, and remember this.

Happy to send these. Please pm your address and I will calculate your postage costs.

I will send these to you also. Please pm me your address so I can calculate postage. Glad these items are going to a good home!
I also have embossing tips and an embossing pad, if anyone wants it.
On second thought, I will send the embossing tips to Hawaii who pm'd me and would like her grandchild to learn how to use the slice. Embossing tips might be a safer way to start.
Looks like I have takers for everything now. Thanks all, and happy crafting!
I love my slice. When I first got it, the circles and some of the letters cut wonky. I registered it online, and was sent a calibration card. Now it cuts perfectly.
Hi how can I find a calibration card after a long time? can someone help me?
If you need a calibration card, you might check with the Slice Facebook group. It isn't real active and most of the posts are someone wanting to sell what they may still have.
