**November Week 1, Viva la Verve! {10/30/09}**
Well it's good to see you here today! You lookin for a sketch to jump-start your weekend? YOu've come to the right place!
***For VLV Newbies, here are the deets! Every Friday I will post a new sketch with a {twist}. The {twist} is an extra requirement for your sketch card! Could be an inspiration challenge, a color challenge, a limited supplies challenge, who knows! There is no solid deadline for each sketch, but they DO need to be uploaded to the VLV Gallery by the last week of the month! For November, there will be five sketches and all five sketches must be uploaded by MIDNIGHT CST on 26 November. I will announce the winner on 27 November! Verve stamps are NOT required to play with us but if you have them, please use them, we don't want them getting lonely! What's up for grabs? Well, Verve's ENTIRE next release of stamps!!! So are you ready to play?***
The twist this week is a 1, 2, 3 challenge! What does that mean? Allow me to share
1- The number of embellishments you may use (glitter, stickles, fluff, punches, etc...does not count as an embellishment for my challenges. An embellishment is ribbon, brads, eyelets, paper flowers, etc...) By only one embellishment used, I mean one type, not one actual brad, button, eyelet, etc...I do have a heart
2- The number of cardstock colors you must have (you may add one additional neutral color also)
3- The number of STAMPS you must use!
Keywords this week are Verve (if you use Verve stamps) and VLVNov01

Ok, here's mine. Now, my button is not real, its made from punches, so I don't think it counts as an embellishment, I hope  I used ribbon for my one embellishment.

I did 2 (very similar) cards for this challenge. I felt like the first one wasn't quite right (and I wasn't sure if I was allowed DP - it wasn't listed in our 1,2,3 equation) so I wanted to do better with the second, but I think I ended up liking the first one better.

I have "embraced the circles and made them my friends" I was so excited after completing this card and then the wind went out of my sails a bit after I realized B & W are not technically "colours" but rather neutrals!!! No!!! Dear Miss Amber, is this correct and do I need to do a redo??!! Please advise......

Hi!
I would love to play your challenges! I do have a question on this challenge. We are allowed two colors and a neutral. If I choose blue/white as my colors, then can I use *all shades* of blue or do the blues have to be the same?
