Bellas Twisted Challenge BTC10 - Oct.22.09: Stamping Bella

Welcome to Bella's Twisted Challenge 10 - Purple Paper Piecing.

I have been seeing the colour purple everywhere these days in fashion and furniture and it has inspired me to play with one of my favorite colours.

So this weeks challenge is to make a card, scrapbook layout or altered project using purple and the twist is that you have to include some paper piecing.

I chose Addy Tude Loves to Sparkle and paper pieced her dress and shawl with some pretty designer paper.

You may use the same layout as I have done or come up with your own. The only rule is that you must use any image from any of the Stamping Bella line of stamps.

Your entry must be uploaded by 11:59 EST on October 28th as I will randomly draw a winner and post it here on October 29th. A $15.00 gift voucher from Stamping Bella will be awarded to the winner of this challenge

Oh, I love paper piecing and I always forget about it!! Thanks for the memory jog! I definitely want to play this weekend! And purple is such a great color!

Hi Bellas!

HERE is my card. Thanks for the challenge - it's een quite some time since I used purple. The paper piecing is on the shopping boxes!

Good grief! I just re-read your post and realized I was supposed to paper piece! Ack! I knew you paper pieced your cute card, but I thought the challenge was to use purple! Shoot! I will post my card anyway, even though I screwed up.... At least I got the purple right! LOL I'll try to get it right next month!

thanks Miz Vicki - this is my pink "lost mojo look". Earlier this year I organized a stamping night with my crafty girlfriends after we were all complaining that we had lost our mojo. When they arrived at the door I greeted them in my Pink wig, tiara and disco glasses and poured a round of pink martini's for everyone. We had alot of laughs and all found their crafting mojo after the wig was passed around a few times. One of the gals took a picture of me that night. I also brought "the look" to Stamping Bella last time I was there - I think I freeked Em out a little??
