**Viva la Verve! October Week 3 {10/16/09}**
TGIF! Am I lucky or what, I get to start your Fridays off with a fun challenge! Get ready for another fun week!
***For VLV Newbies, here are the deets! Every Friday I will post a new sketch with a {twist}. The {twist} is an extra requirement for your sketch card! Could be an inspiration challenge, a color challenge, a limited supplies challenge, who knows! There is no solid deadline for each sketch, but they DO need to be uploaded to the VLV Gallery by the last week of the month! For October, there will be four sketches and all four sketches must be uploaded by MIDNIGHT CST on 29 October! I will announce the winner on 30 October! Verve stamps are NOT required to play with us but if you have them, please use them, we don't want them getting lonely! What's up for grabs? Well, Verve's ENTIRE next release of stamps!!! So are you ready to play?***
This weeks {twist} is to use fabric on your card! You can use as little or as much as you want! It can be real fabric, fabric texture, fabric cardstock, or if you don't have any of those, you can find a technique to create a faux fabric! I'm so excited to see the gallery this week! Have fun!!
Keywords are Verve (if you're using Verve stamps) and VLVOct03
VLVOct03 Gallery
Have a great week!

Found the sewing machine and some fabric and went to town! Sorry I didn't quite keep to the sketch - my fabric was a little large and there was enough bling without the 3 extra dots! This is my little teddy under the tree

I had a tough time with this one...I worked in the fabric as paper piecing on the flower. Here is mine: Fabric Floral

Yeah! I got to use a piece of fabric that I couldn't let go of, but was really to small to do anything with! Here is mine:

Instead of fabric I used the faux suede technique (TLC241) - I literally have no fabric! Crazy huh?
Here is mine:
Enjoy!
Thanks for the challenge - I learned something new and that's a GOOD THING!

I didn't get to play last week, so combined your sketch with a 'fabric' twist with today's SCS challenge to make a girlie card. GIRLS' NIGHT OUT

I like the idea of using fabric on a card; I'm going to try it again!
Here's what I came up with: Trick-or-Treat
