How do people have color challenges in the 100's? Where do you find them?

I am new to this challenge and wonder if someone can tell me...Do I ONLY use the colors in the challenge or are we allowed to ad another color to the ones that are listed. E.G. for Challenge #1 it says green galore and gable green. Am I suppose to use ONLY those two colors or can I use Very Vanilla to stamp on too? I am sorry, I tried to find the "rules" sticky but there doesn't seem to be one. Thanks for your help. Whoever you are *smile*

I'm sorta new here too, Renee, so I'm not sure if there is a separate gallery of 4th of July cards but what you might do is go to the main gallery (click on it at the top right of the page where it says *gallery* next to *home*... Once there you will see the different SU sets listed alphabetically. You might try some of the patriotic type sets such as *Star-Spangled Day* and *Star-Spangled Banner* and also *Land That I Love*. There are probably some pretty good 4th of July type cards there. There may be other patriotic sets that I don't know about but hope this helps.

You can use those colors and a neutral to help you along. You can add others, if you need too, but try to stay with the ones listed as the ones that you notice most. HTH

Default color challenge?

Is there a specific color challenge each week, or do you just pick from the list?

Default How Often?

I'm sorta new to the daily challenges, but I was wondering how often each challenge is updated/changed. Do they change each week?...or less often than that?
Thanks!

Thanks for answering that question...my next question is WHO selects the challenge? Are there people who are assigned the task? (just trying to learn as much as I can about the process)

If you look at each challenge that is posted, each day it is posted by the same person each week. That person takes suggestions via private message or email or makes up their own challenge each week. Sometimes they see ideas in galleries that they use. Sometimes they post suggestions made by others. If they can't be around to post a challenge they usually email someone to do it for them. It's a fun way to expand your stamping abilities. It's also awesome to see how many different ways people create! I've learned so much from doing these challenges.

I appreciate the discussion here as I had the same questions. I'm still not clear about the color list. Does the color list change from week to week? Does everyone do the same color number from the list?

We are posting in the master list for this color challenge. Each week a new color challenge is posted and added to this list as soon as possible. Lots and lots of ladies do these things on this site when they can since they are volunteers. So updating this list in this thread is done as regularly as possible.
If you go to the home page and click on a day of the week challenge, you will find the latest challenges. If you're not sure which is the current one, you can check this master list, or look to see which number near the top of the list is the largest. Some ladies put the date on their post, others don't. Hope that helps.
Once the color combination is posted for the week, everyone uses these colors in their card, either in ink, or paper. YOu can use a neutral color with these colors as well, such as white, vanilla, black or gray. Hope this helps.

I also have a question--which color combo is for this week (Monday, November 2? Is it the cranberry crisp, bashful blue or a new one?

Thanks as I don't know what week we are on... I'm not too quick as you can tell!
