Video set to music~ If I Had A Brand New Workbox I'd Be Glad!!!!

Now you can see how I have to store all of my supplies and carry them up and down the basement stairs to use them.
Please be clear that I am an organized person. I just don't have a craft room. The workbox would fit perfectly in our living room which is nice because my husband has been crafting too so we will be able to be together. Someone has to keep an eye (or two) on the little one.
"Confessions of Lynn's forgotten supplies!"
In blackness the crackle of an old hand radio pops to life.
PUNCHES 1 (V.O.)
It's so cold and dark in here. I haven't
seen the light of day in what seems like
years. Does she even know we're down
here in this shoebox?
INT. SMALL 2 BEDROOM CONDO
The living room is cozy and only the light of a fire in the
fire place illuminates the room. The windows have become
picture frames of Hallmark card winter scenes. The bare wall
between the windows waits for something.
CRICUT
Pssst...Yo. You punches in the drawers
I'm talking to you.
PUNCHES
(muffled)
What?
CRICUT
Did you hear?
PUNCH 1
(low self esteem)
Hear what?
PUNCH 2
Did someone say something? Hey get off my
back.
CRICUT
Our creator's trying to win that awesome
crafters workbox she's been wanting
forever. Just imagine....
We see the CRAFTERS WORKBOX in the light of the God's slowly
open and display it's drawers.
CRICUT (CONT'D)
we could finally be seen and used
together. The way we were supposed to be
used.
PUNCH 3
(obsessive compulsive)
She needs that! We're in these drawers
scattered all over the house.
She can't work effectively spending her
time searching for the right tool.
PUNCH 1
(low self-esteem)
She would probably just leave me in the
back closet. Especially now that Cricut
is here. She and Cuttelbug get all the
love.
PUNCH 3
(obsessive compulsive)
Oh don't be silly.
You're in a drawer because you fit there.
They're under the stairs because they're
fat.
EMBELLISHMENT
(sleepy)
Who's fat?
STICKLES
(cranky)
Don't talk to me until I clear my throat.
I'm all crusty and backed up. If we
weren't crammed in these boxes we
wouldn't be all congested.
Under the stairs.
PAPER
(Attention Deficit Disorder)
You may be congested but at least you
don't have children's little mitts
crumpling and ripping your edges. We're
turning into scraps. (Paper)- Hmm, what?
I was just thinkinghow beautiful I would
be as a Christmas card.I hope I get chosen
before mitts get me.
Stickel's is all choked up, Paper Cutter almost
cut someone when they figured out how to unlock him.
And, Cardstock only has a couple of days left before....
Stamps
(Body Dysmorphic Disorder)
Uh, this cold basement does nothing for me.
I am not chosen as much because she prefers
to use her newer more beautiful stamps that
dont have cracks. I really need some attention
to address these cracks and splits. When are they
going to approve Botox injections for us!?!?!?!?
I bet if she went to Mexico she could find someone
that would do the procedure!!!
CUTTLEBUG
(optimistic)
Guys, let's look on the positive side
even though we're all spread out in
different rooms and she has to use the
kitchen table to work, she does have the
perfect space for the workbox.
PUNCH 1
The space between the windows?
CUTTLEBUG
Yes,and remember, it's a workspace and a
storage solution that looks like a
beautiful, high-end piece of furniture so
she can put it in the second bedroom too.
There are drawers, nooks and spaces for
all of us!!!!!!
ALL
How can we help her get it?
CUTTLEBUG
Let's all think about it real hard.
The room becomes quiet and a slight hum of concentration can
be heard. The fire burns brighter and the snow begins to fall
outside.
THE END

1) Why you craft?
This is actually a looooong story. I started crafting by accident. A few years ago I began scrapbooking when my brother, (38yrs old), passed away from cancer. At the time he had 3 babies, (3yrs, 2 yrs, and 6 months). He lived 2 hours away so while he was ill I was able to help take care of the kids. After he passed away, I continued taking care of the kids every other weekend until my sister-in-law remarried. Although, the kids have a fabulous new family, I still get together with them every chance I get. This way, my parents and siblings have the opportunity to remain in their lives as well. So, having said all that, I decided to scrapbook our time together so they would not forget how much we love them. When they look at the photos they remember the things we did and they talk about their dad that lives with the angels. Recently, I met some friends at work that stamp and now, as you may have guessed, I am addicted!!!!!!
Crafting is the one way I relax. I used to be quite active; however, I severely injured my back, moving a patient and am very limited as to what activities I can participate.
Please, dont think I am having a pitty party!!! I did not want to ignore you but as I mentioned earlier, I purposely did not add this information.
(2) What you do with your completed handcrafted projects?
Having been self taught and not realizing all of the resources that were available I did not share my work except for with family until recently. As many others do, I try to share with those that need inspiration. I volunteer at a hospice near my house and many of my cards I take there. I also have donated most of my cards to the family center at the hospital I work at. Recently, I started participating in projects for our Childrens Hospital and our brave soldiers overseas as well.
(3) What the biggest impact any of your projects has had on you, someone else, or the world at large!
I doubt my projects have made much of an impact on the world but if I made one person smile, it has all been worthwhile!!!!!!
