Christmas inchie and twinchie swap! Now Open! **Due November 23RD!
~I have decided to jump in with both feet (finally) and host a swap of my own
~This swap is inspired by some little Christmas gifts I made last year, and had such a good response that I have been asked to make more! (i will post photos of these, as well as template for anyone who's interested)
~I know it’s only the first week of September, but I hope we can get in the spirit a leetle bit early!
~this will be a choice swap~join one or both~as many spots as you like as long as each set is different because there will be different themes!
~INCHIES~ 10 + 1 (you make 11, get 10 in return and the +1 is for the hostess)~*if you don’t already know, inchies are 1” x 1”
~TWINCHIES~ 6 +1 (you make 7, get 6 in return, and the +1 is for the hostess)~*twinchies are 2” x 2” square
**"should be artsy as in made with care and pride, not just like a photo carelessly slapped on a piece of construction paper in a scrapbook"
***I have recently helped with some very large swaps, and have seen mostly delightful and lovely work done with lots of effort & love~but, some FEW folks have sent in terribly shoddy work with absolutely no effort at all!! And that makes the ones who put a lot of time & care into their art feel bad when they receive a piece back that has pieces falling off, stamping *badly* smudged, misspelled words, torn images, peeling glue, coffee and/or water stains on them....i have personally seen every single one of these things in recent swaps i've helped with, and i just wanted every single swapper to get back inchies/twinchies that have as much love put into them as they put into the ones they made!!!. You can get your images from books, collage sheets, Christmas cards, wrapping paper, old ornaments, etc. If you decide to print an image from the internet, please be sure that the image is crisp and clear.
~Make sure your pages are sturdy-several layers of card stock or chipboard, watercolor paper, etc. Nothing flimsy please...and at least one embellishment of some type
**You can mail these in a box or a padded envie. Make sure you include enough return postage. If you are from Canada, or another country, I am delighted to have you join our swap, BUT make sure you don't send your country‘s own currency. I have no way of using Canadian (or any other foreign) currency. If you have questions about this PM me and I will work it out with you. **I would love to have ephemera from your home country instead of return postage!

~ You can do what ever you would like as long as it is your best work. If you want to have something dangle off the edge that is awesome! You can collage, stamp, draw, paint, origami, etc. Any technique you choose is fine.
~handwriting is a sticky issue, it seems~
~Personally, I DON’T have a problem with it, as long as it is VERY VERY NEAT and NOT MISSPELLED OR INCORRECT USAGE, TENSE OR PUNCTUATION (this drives me right out of my gourd, just ask my DH or kids)
Pretty, pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top...YOUR PIECES MUST HAVE YOUR SCREEN NAME ON THE BACK!!!! If you want to add the date and/or your real name, wonderful, but you HAVE to put your screen name on these. I will return these if they don't have the screen name on the back. I know it sounds mighty crabby, but I can’t do a good job for everyone who participates if I don’t know which inchie or twinchie is yours!
Okay, here's my thought...whilst (i just like that word) zooming around the internet looking for images for this swap, i have amassed a big photo file of Christmas and holiday images....so, here's what i'm gonna do...everyone who has signed up for this swap will be sent back as a thank-you-for-joining gift, along with their swapped-out goodies, a collage sheet on high-quality photo paper (just for signing up!)!
**and then, to make it even MORE interesting....i will have a random name drawing from EVERY group category (both Inchie and Twinchie) for a whole CD of all the Christmas and holiday images i have collected.
I have at least 15 collage sheets to put on this disc, not including separate, single images!

I posted three that I am working on in my blog. The Santa one has stickles on it and
crystal effects on the eyeglasses. I will finish it with seed pearls for the mistletoe.
