Hello my friends!!! I am happy to be here on this crisp fall morning! well at least it is crisp for me! LOL 7 hours difference really is huge!!! Don't worry thought I have a fun challenge for you!

Your challenge today is to make a scapling...don't know what one is...no worries I'll explain...you know that little part of scardstock that is left over when you're making a 4x4 card? That little 1.5 inch pience? That is your scrapling!!! and we are going to make a little card out of it...need some ideas to get you going?

So the card you will be making today will measure 4x 1.5

Here is my Samples: Little Scrapling Mark

Here is My frienkd NCSUNIKKI's Sample

LSC236 Gallery

You can use any stamps and embelishments...just keep them small!!! remember...LIMITED SUPPLIES CHALLENGE!!! LOL

If you need any more inspiration or are confused by what a scrapling is...check out the May issue of Sheetload of cards! here!

Remember, the challeng eis just for fun, there is no time limit!!! Play at your own leasure!!! and always always have fun!!!

Hugs and happy Stampin!!!

I had always saved these pieces to use for punching or small borders but this will be so much nicer. Great for the lunchbox notes for my boys.

I don't think I have ever made a 4 x 4 card, so I will have to create a piece if I don't have a scarp I can cut down, LOL. Thanks for the cool challenge!

I have never made a 4x4 card but doesn't that mean you would only cut off .5 of an inch from an 8 1/2 " piece of paper? and then 3" off the 11" side? I am not sure where you get the 1.5" from.

I love the scraplings I have seen so far! But, I have a question for those samples that are doubled over. Do you have an eight by 1.5 piece and fold it in half or do you fold a 4 inch piece in half thus giving you a 2 X 1.5.? It appears from the pictures you begin with an 8 inch long piece.

Hi-- I make my scraplings from the cardstock that is left from an 8.5 x 11" piece of cardstock, after I make a 5.5" square card, so the scrapling ends up being 3 x 11 or 3 x 5.5 once it is scored and folded....
