IFC49 8/31/09:Scraplift a Diva - anats
Hello and welcome back to the Inspiration Found challenge.:p I hope you all enjoyed your break.
I had to put my Mom back in the hospital on Thursday and she just came back home today so, my post is going to be short and sweet.
I have been a long time fan of anats scrapbooking style. So your challenge this week is to scraplift a page from her gallery. She has 92 incredible images in her gallery so, I'm sure you'll find something that you love.

Oh yes, I'm a big fan of Anats too! She has the most fun, colorful pages. My problem with her gallery will be trying to narrow a page to lift--there are just SO many great pages!
Glad to see you back, Jenn. Sorry your mom isn't doing well and that you've got so much going on in your life. I think of you often!!

Update on My Mom
Ladies,
A special thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers over this past week and while I have been away.
After taking my Mom to her follow-up appt. on Tuesday afternoon, she had a mini-stroke in my car on the way home. If it were not for your prayers, I don't think either myself or my Mom would be here today. Because, when this happened, I took my eyes off the road and was totally focused on her. When I finally realized that I should probably pull off the road, she regained conscience(spelling??). Needless to say she was admitted back in the hospital. On Wednesday evening they transported her to New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington, NC. Yesterday she had a catherization and we learned that she has Multiple Vessel Disease which means every artery has a blockage. The problem they are dealing with right now is that she is having some renal failure and in order to put the stints in they have to use the dye and the dye has an effect on the kidneys. So, yesterday they went in and did the artery that was blocked 95%, and thank God, she came through the procedure fine. They wanted to give the kidneys a break in between each stint so, they are going to try to put another one in this afternoon. She also needs a defribulator implanted and under normal circumstances they wait 40 days after the stints are in place but the specialist said they Mom's heart can't wait the 40 days so, she will not be leaving the hospital until all the stints are in place and the defribulator is implanted. So, that is where we stand as of right now.
Words simply can't express how much your prayers mean to me.
Also, since Monday is Labor Day and the last official vacation day of summer I will not be posting a challenge. Hopefully by the following week, my Mom will be out of danger and back home with me. Thanks again for everything.

Hi, finally uploaded my scrap lift of kisses by anats. I love her style. I already had a few of her pages in my favs. Her gift of incorporating stamping on her layout caught my eye.This page I did not stamp but used a pp that gives that effect. I struggle with using my stamps on layouts. Anats pages are true inspiration. Thank you anats! Great find Jenn. tfl.

Thank you Wendy for your thoughts and prayers. I was able to bring my Mom home this afternoon from New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. I have spent several nights there at the hospital sleeping in a recliner because I was so worried about her. They inserted a total of 4 stints. On Tuesday they implanted the defribulator. That was probably her worst day. After the procedure she was in such horrible pain and her BP kept dropping. That was the one night that I could not stay with her and it was incredibly hard for me to walk away. Needless to say I didn't sleep a wink that night. However, yesterday when I returned to the hospital there was a dramatic improvement in her and the doctor's released her today. She has a few limitations for the next 6 weeks but, I believe overall these procedures were answers to many prayers as I can already tell a difference in her.
