I would have to say that the sketch I use for this card is my most "go to" of any!

I think the sketch you use is partly determined by the focal image you're going to put on your card, but this one seems pretty and super-easy to me. It was the very first sketch for the Stampin411 weekly sketch design. If you haven't already found this blog, it's designed to help newer stampers get started with easier layouts than some of the more complex ones you see out there, and yet the cards made with those layouts are really beautiful.
Anyway, here's an easy layout that I really like.

I don't have a specific layout. I usually go to the sketch challenges and see if a sketch will work for the stamp set I want to use. If I can't find anything I like, I combine elements from sketch challenges that will work for the style and stamps I want to use.

I have two lately.
First, this one is new for me. It's because I have some larger stamps lately, or these guidelines stamps:
pink/green guidelines by Erin K at Splitcoaststampers I like it because the feature area is huge.
And the other is several variations on this:
Take Time by Erin K at Splitcoaststampers
Basicly ribbon or pattern paper across card, image mounted off center, greeting on opposing side. This is my actual super fall to sketch. I use it more than anything else. And it always makes me happy.
