Well, I just found this and I am impressed. These are really great! However, where did you find the revolving bases? I would love to make some of these for my craft room. Thanks.

I'm glad you folks liked my video.
The lazy susan was purchased at Ace Hardware for about $6.00. It is an option, not a requirement. My first ones had no base, then I used plywood, then I thought of the lazy susan. I didn't know they came that small so I was glad I found it.

I missed something - the inches where you scored the 12X12 paper. I played it twice to get the numbers, but didn't hear any measurements. So where to find the scoring measurements. It's a cute project, with or without the lazy susan underneath.
Thanks,
Stasia

Now I'm thinking about making some for about seven of my co-workers for Christmas!
My lazy susan gets stuck in one place, and I don't know if oil will help it. It seems like it might have been squeezed too tight during shipment or something. Otherwise, I just love it! I will post a picture later, when I can find my camera! Thanks for this very cool tutorial!

Very good job. Did I see you made a strap for a pair of scissors? What a great idea. That is how these things go on and on, one person has an idea and others run with it. It got me to thinking pockets, a series of loops for sharp tools, and add decorations to the outside.

Oh, yes, it's a simple strap for my fine little scissors that get easily lost. So the strap was really easy to do! Loops for other tools would be cool too!
It is a lot of fun and so useful too!

Great videos
I really like the way you are so innovative with other tools...like using the stamp positioner to give extra height to the Score Pal edge. Not in a million years would I have thought to do that. I love the little divider thingy, and the bottom! Thanks also for the tour of your workshop. I'm looking forward to more videos from you.

Robin, great job. I noticed you got a 4” base. The paper you chose will lend itself to any location, even an office with “rules”.
BabyNurse, I figured out the stamp tool idea out of necessity … some jobs need 3 hands. I encourage everyone to find and share other ways this tool can be used. If you use it as a work station you will surely find ways to use your Scor-Pal.
Karen, what a great idea. You can make them to fit any theme too. Parties for kids, tailgate, birthdays, anything.

Thanks for the compliments!
I want to make another one (just because!) but I think I'd rather use a 3" lazy susan base. I'm thinking that will be better because you won't be able to see the metal edges of the base.
Or! I could use a 4" and cut the DSP a bit bigger and fold it over the metal edges. hrmmm....

Robin, you could paint the base, just don't get any paint in the bearing race.

What kind of paint? Could I use acrylic craft type paint? Or would it be better to use an gloss paint? And, since the base is metal, would it have to be primed first?
