Wow! We are going WAY back for this one! High school colors were Blue and Yellow, first wedding (1975) colors were Yellow and White, second wedding (2005) colors were pale yellow and black. I think the trend here is yellow. I still have some ribbon I used to tie the little boxes for the table gifts, so will try to tie that in! (no pun intended!)

Both catagories in my life produce icky color combinations. I never did like my 70's wedding colors of barely banana and old olive SPEW! My high school colors are a tad more workable, but I admit I did cheat on the green hue. It was a fun challenge though. Thanks Judy!

Here is my card for today's challenge. Took me all day to get it done, I'm on puppy duty because my daughter has been out most of the day. So since this color combo was inspired by my wedding, I decided to make this a wedding card.

Judy, thank you for a wonderful challenge. I made THIS CARD as a thank you card for the volunteers that helped put on our local youth musical. Opening Night tonight.
I am not sure what is going on with the card in the gallery. I hated my first card. I colored it really quickly so I could take it home to my daughters as the sample so that they could make the rest of them. When I got to looking at it in the gallery it kept upsetting me. So I redid the card and tried to edit the photo. It doesn't show up on the thumbnail, only on the up close view. I haven't ever tried to edit a photo of one of my cards so I don't know if this is the norm.
This is my card for this weeks challenge. I used my old high school colors and used one photo mount as per instructions. Hope yall like it. Pam LSC229 by downcobble at Splitcoaststampers
i was going on my memory - which apparently isn't too good! I forgot to add a clip of some sort....but maybe i can earn extra credit!
I used not only my school colors....but this card is for a graduate of the same high school that i went too...so i used my school colors and my school initials...does that help me out ?

Fun challenge...thanks so much! This is my first time playing the LSC but I'll be back again cause it made me think outside the box. Watercoloured Spring Song
When I saw the limits on this weeks challenge, I knew I had a card to make for it. I went with my high school colors I've been wanting to make some "save the date" cards for DS's upcoming graduation next spring. Since his high school colors are the same as mine, this was the perfect excuse to stamp! (Same colors, but different high schools - in different states!) I forgot to check all the limits before I stamped, so the clip was put on after the card was finished. I also made this in the sketch for this week.
