IFC42 6/15/09: Color by Theme:Yearn for Yellow
Welcome to our third challenge in the Color by Theme Series!
The color of sunshine and daffodils, yellow is often associated with springtime designs. However, this chipper shade will make any of the following themes that much brighter:
-use it to scrapbook an important relationship or friendship
-weddings: yellow is a popular wedding color right now
-bath time: like Rubber Ducky, yellow makes bath time lots more fun
-a trip to the zoo: lions, tigers, and giraffes, -so many yellow yellow
animals are waiting to be photographed during a day of fun
Your challenge:
Get out your yellow cardstock, patterned paper, flowers, letters or anything else in your stash that's yellow and use it on your layout this week. You can try one of the theme's I listed above or use yellow for any event or theme that tickles your fancy.
My Samples:
Here is a couple of layouts documenting special relationships that use yellow:
Greatest Mom
Greatest Man I Never New
and I'm in the process of creating one more which I'll share later!
Now it's your turn! Please use the keywords IFC42 on all layouts submitted for this challenge. Please remember to come back here and post a reply with a link to your layout so we can leave you some love.
You will find all submissions for this challenge HERE
****Next week for IFC43 mollymoo951 AKA Melissa will be your guest hostess. Can't wait to see what fun she has in store for you!****
If you are looking for more inspiration you can find a link to all the previous Inspiration Found Challenges HERE and you are welcome to play them at any time.

I believe you can do it. Besides there are various shades of yellow. Don't go with the pastel.

Happy Summer everyone! The last time I had a chance to scrapbook was over Spring Break. Don't you know that I am excited to finally be on vacation - now I can get to some serious scrapbooking.
This is my first page for the summer - and a perfect challenge! Thanks for the inspiration...and for taking a peek!

What a great treat to wake up and read so many kind comments - Thanks everyone!
Yes, I am a teacher, so my scrapbooking time is limited to the Christmas holidays, Spring Break and summer. I look so forward to sitting down with all of the pictures I have collected over the year.
Today my husband is treating me to a day of "bliss" in celebration of our 20th anniversary, but I'll be back soon!
Happy Friday!
Debra

Sorry I am a little late in posting this. I've had it done for awhile, I just was procrastinating on the journaling.
