Default Found on the Interwebs

What are your favorite non-stamping sites that you use for stamping resources? I found a few cool ones while working on a project for my hubby.

Wonderful Graffiti First, I want to cover my entire house in words and monograms. But since I can't, I use this site to find cool quotes and interesting typography. Check out the photo album and Quote Etc. pages.

Also check out Sugarboodesigns photobox collection for some great quotes.

And I found a really cool old map at Newfoundland & Labrador website - they have a high-res size that's great for printing!

So now it's your turn to share some of your favorite non-stamping sites that you use for stamping resources!

Default Color Schemer

Fun question, Meg. This is a free online tool for picking color combos for websites: http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html

It also has an online gallery of saved color schemes by theme:
http://www.colorschemer.com/schemes/tags/

Although it is not keyed to SU color names the way the SU Color Combos site is, Color Schemer is a different way of exploring colors that coordinate well with each other.

Are Judi and I the only people who venture out past Splitcoast? No one else has any other suggestions? Not even cakewrecks, which is...um....an inspiration of how not to do things (and the funniest website ever).

I like WetCanvas - a site kinda like this one for canvas (instead of cards) artists.
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/

I especially like their watercolour section:
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=11

Totally neat site!!

Check out this thread:
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show...oto=nextnewest
They have challenges too, and people post their work and there's comments and constructive criticism. Soooooo neat! Above my level, but it is something for me to strive for.

Loved cake wrecks! OMG, sooooo funny. I decorated a cake for a co-worker years ago and left out the H in BIRTHDAY. Just a tad bit embarrassing . . .

Another fan of Wet Canvas here , although I haven't been spending as much time there as I used to. The watercolor forum has some talented artists who are willing to share their expertise. Gorgeous paintings in the galleries, too.

This was mentioned in another thread about photos, but good to mention here: Picasa, Google's free image software, rocks my world!!! Also I love Google Reader for keeping up with my blogs and I love Google Notebook to keep all my sketch and card ideas handy.

Haha, tooo funny. The cake wrecks book should be in stores in September. She's only had the blog for about a year, so it's pretty awesome that she already has a book deal. (I should also add that if you liked cake wrecks and you like cute animals, check out cuteoverload)

Here is one that I completely enjoyed! Travel related, for those of you who love to travel or love to dream of travel. Sort of a "What not to wear" http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...g-anywhere.cfm
