6/1/09: No IFC this week!

Hello scrappers! I thought it would be appropriate if we did not have a challenge this week in honor of this past weekend's VSBN. There were lots of great challenges and they are due on June 6th so, I thought you would enjoy the break and appreciate the time to get caught up and catch your breath. We will resume our Color by Theme challenge Series starting next Monday.
Also speaking of breathers and taking a break I am thinking of taking one after the Color by Theme Challenge Series. I have been thinking about rotating hostesses for this challenge for awhile to give some of our other creative geniuses out there a chance to shine. If you would be interested in hosting an IFC challenge please post a reply here. I do have a list of people who have volunteered in the past and if you are one of them and are still interested please post again. I say this because availability changes and new comittments arise so, if you were available a year ago you might not be now. Thanks to everyone who plays along with the Inspiration Found Challenge. I always enjoy your creative efforts and appreciate your participation.

since there wont' be a new challenge does that give me another week to complete the red challenge??? I hope so

Let me know what I would have to do as a guest hostess. Only four more days of school, and then I will have a little time on my hands. Well, actually I will have two little boys on my hands--but definitely more scrap time!

That's exactly right you have more time to complete the red challenge. There is never really a deadline to the IFC challenge unless it's a contest or I'm giving a prize. So, I'll hope you'll try the red out.
As a guest hostess, if would be your job to come up with the challenge for that week and a sample page to go along with it. That's really all there is to it other than checking in on the thread and commenting on the pages that the members create for your challenge. Let me know if you are interested. It won't start for another 6 weeks.

sounds like something i could handle. does it have to be a color challenge, or just a challenge?

Absolutely. Just a challenge. Anything you want with the exception of a technique challenge as that is Peggy's territory is the Scrapbook Variety Challenge.
