Default 40th Birthday Favor Ideas...HELP!!

I've been asked to make 100 favors for a surprise 40th birthday party (for a woman) for June 13th. Does anyone have any quick and easy ideas? I'm already making a 40 SUCKS lollipop bouquet for the birthday lady.

I made these for a friend's 40th

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=66096

The containers were super cheap (about 17 cents each Canadian). The karate theme probably won't work for this lady but it's really easy to pretty up using a different ribbon and font for the 40. They are quick to make too. Inside I put Lindor chocolates I picked up from a nearby outlet.

Attached is the best pic I could find of the place-settings for my husband's 40th last year. I bought the personalized m&ms and put them in little plastic bags, stapled shut, on cardstock with the little Happy Birthday taggie at the top. The m&ms said Happy 40th and Robert 5/16/68.

Here is the whole wrapper. Maybe you can play around with it and use it.

For my husbands 40th BD party they took inexpensive black lace and cut circles large enough to go over the head and cover the face for the women. Sort of a veil effect. The men had black armbands made from wide black elastic. When he and I walked in, everyone was sitting around pretending to cry. It was hilarious and so much fun. Not edible but effective!

Warning --- might be construed as cruel!

Since we know how sensitive we might be about our age - and our size ... be sure to point out somewhere that 40 = XL in Roman Numerals. I've put this on a few birthday cards ... and managed to survive.

This isn't a party favor but for my BIL 40th my DH and I bought 40 gifts (from the dollar store and Target dollar spot) wrapped them individually and put them in a gift bag. The look on BIL's face was priceless. Most of the stuff was useful too....classic movie dvd's, tools, etc.....

Hmmm....party favors.......what about something symbolizing a wine bottle or have cheap wine-glasses (plastic ones if need be) with a tag of some sort....photo one one side and "Aged to perfection" and her birth-date on the opposite side. the tags could be tied to the stem of the wine glass.

How about a bottle of water with a individual mix to pour into it, with the bottle tag saying something about it being her 40th birthday.

I think I was at the Super WalMart when I saw prunes in a plastic tube and they were individually wrapped inside. Are prunes called dried plums now?

Anyhow, maybe you could put tags on the top of the individually wrapped prunes or put them in a bowl like candy or party favors?

I have seen people make little tags for individually wrapped life saver mints in the past, maybe you could search for those for ideas?

Here's a cute candy bar wrapper with a sizzix die-cut flower on top. Maybe you could do something along these lines.

Print a copy of events that happened in 1969-

Then roll up the page scroll-like and tie with a black ribbon.
