**Viva la Verve! April Week 4 {4/17/09}**
Good morning/afternoon/evening! I have been SO impressed by all of the amazing cards you ladies are creating with the sketches! I have to admit that I have been tough on you with the twists but you are persevering and creating some real art! Thanks for hangin in there with me 
If you're new to the Viva la Verve challenges, here are the deets!
Complete each weekly sketch (uploaded on every Friday) with the twist (an extra requirement for your sketch card) and have all of that months sketch cards uploaded by midnight EST on April 30th, and you will be eligible to win the next months Verve release for FREE! That is one AWESOME deal! If you don't get the sketches done until the last day of April, you still qualify! Just get those cards uploaded and link them on the sketch champion thread (this thread will be created during week 5)! I choose a random winner and create a thread JUST FOR YOU! Sound worth playing for?
This weeks {twist} is hopefully going to be fun for you! I happen to LOVE creating backgrounds using stamps. So you know what's coming, right? This week's twist is to create your own dp using stamps! It doesn't have to be anything crazy fancy, just stamp a flower randomly, or get creative and combine stamps from different sets to create really fun backgrounds! I have attached a couple samples I created using some new release stamps!
So lets see what you got, go create some fun backgrounds!
Keywords this week are Verve (if you're using Verve stamps) and VLVApr04.
Verve stamps are NOT required, but if you have them, we'd love to see them

WOW! I can't believe I'm 2d and it's been forever since I played. Great sketch and I love the twist. Made me do something I haven't done in ages.

Another great sketch and a fun challenge! I never seem to get the sentiment in the right place, though -- I don't seem to notice it on the sketch until after I put my card together...

i'm so glad to find another sketch challenge! and to win verve stamps!?!? awesome. anyway, this is my first project posting on SCS. my dd and i created this together. she chose the colors and made the DP. i assembled the flowers and sketched the image and hand-stamped the sentiment with alphabet stamps.

VLVAPR04
Here are two attempts at the VLVAPR04 sketch with a twist. It was a real challenge for me because it was the first time I've made my own DP. The first one turned out CAS, and I don't really like it, but I love the second one.

This one was hard...
I made this twist too hard. I ended up using the first "practice" DIY designer paper after working up about 4 others.
I was too brain-dead to follow the rest of the sketch, but I really like how it turned out.
