2009 Papertrey Ink Swap Round 3--Hosted by AmyStamper--Now Postal!

HELLO! Got your taxes done? Then it's time to reward yourself with a NEW Round of PTI swaps! We have been doing this for a couple of years now, and we always have a great time and get some FABULOUS swaps! So join us please!

My name is Amy and I am guest-hosting this round. Previous swaps may be found in the galleries of Justtieszen, cupojafa, and chrys23, and also me, AmyStamper. Since PTI has been coming out with SO many cool background stamp sets lately, we are adding a stamped background swap this time around. I am so excited because I love backgrounds! Here are the rules:

Regular card swap:
Description: Any occasion, any color combination, any technique you wish to use. Please make full cards, use at least one embellishment and if you wish you can stamp on the inside of your card but it is not required. It is required for this swap that you use PTI images, all other products are NVR (so vendor required).
Quantity: 5+1 You can sign up for a max of two spots, please make different sets of cards for each spot. I will be swapping 5 different cards, you will not get one of yours back so make sure to make an extra for yourself. The plus 1 is for the hostess. You will send in 6 cards and get 5 different ones back.


Stamped Background swap:
Description: Just use your PTI stamps to stamp a background--it's that simple! Use your imagination--you don't have to use an actual "background" set. Again, any color combo or technique, any color CS. Please use good quality cardstock, and make your BG's A2 size, 4.25 in. by 5.5 in.
Quantity: 5 + 1, max of 2 spots, please make different sets of backgrounds for each spot. I will be swapping 5 different cards, you will not get one of yours back so make sure to make an extra for yourself. The plus 1 is for the hostess. You will send in 6 cards and get 5 different ones back.

Deadlines: Due in my hands by June 30, 2009. You can sign up for a max of two spots in each category. If you sign up and find out that you can't make the deadline please let me know ASAP so I can fill your spot. The deadline for signing up for this swap is June 21, 2009.

Mailing Instructions: Packaging: Place your swap cards in a zip lock bag to waterproof and protect your work. Write your real name, SCS name and the swap name on a piece of paper and put it in the bag for identification.

Swap Return: Place bag inside a self addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess. Please Remember no metered strips...they are only good for the day you purchase them, please use stamps on your return envelope! Please include 2 extra stamps in your bag to cover any extra postage, they will be returned to you if I don't use them. Place your SASE inside your mailing envelope and address it to...

I have you down for one spot in each swap. I think it would be okay to use other stamps as a sentiment, or you could use a computer generated sentiment. Or no sentiment at all, just images and the people who get yours can add their own. I can't wait to see what you do with the guidelines CS! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the invite I spent far too much last night at the release - I just have to wait for my friend to bring them over for me later in the month! I can't wait to get the gridlines cardstock - no more eyeballing it.

Do we make the cards all the same or do a selection? - can you let me know please?

You make 6 all the same for each spot. So if you sign up for two spots, you make 6 of one design and 6 of a different design.

Good night bump! DS has been finishing his term paper (he is in 5th grade--I never did a term paper till High School!) so this is the first chance I've had all evening to get on the computer! We need to get him a laptop!
