Anybody have weird stamp related dreams?
Last night I dreamed Bombshell Stamps opened a store in the mall and I noticed this after Tony Danza (yes, Tony Danza) danced naked for me. I'm a bit concerned about my mental health! LOL

LOL! Tony Danza???? Now, i'm concerned for your mental health too
I dreamt that I was at a big swap I have coming up and when it was time to put our swaps out, I didn't pack any of mine, so I was getting everyone's address so I could send them theirs when I got home.

ROTFL!
I had a MASH party last month and my babysitter had not heard of the show. It just reminded me of how old I was! I am wondering if Tony Danza would fall into the MASH category!
One question, was he vacuuming as well as dancing?

No! LOL He was just dancing around showing off his body. He was, um...quite nicely formed. I don't know why he showed up in my dream. He could be my dad!

My dh actually had a weird stamping dream once (I think I posted this a while back). He told me that in his dream, I was upset because supposedly we didn't have enough shared hobbies, and I convinced him that we should try stamping together. So, for his first project, he proceeded to create a card (this is all in his dream, mind you) that had a piece of his belly-button lint taped to it with the sentiment "you can have every part of me." Disgusting and weird, yes, but actually oddly creative, if you ask me!

I had a dream the other night that I was waiting and waiting for the new SU catalogue to be released. But when I finally got it it was at most 10 pages and was totally homemade looking. It was laminated and an ugly green color.

Too funny! I have yet to have a stamping dream, but often times I put myself to sleep creating cards in my head. Sometimes I will wake up with a brilliant idea too

This is so funny....I subscribed just to keep up with it!
Have not had any stamping dreams, but I often go to sleep thinking about a card that I want to make.
Thanks for making me smile.

Mine wasn't a dream.....exactly. I had surgery about two years ago and was semi-dreaming of hosting a workshop as I was coming out of the anesthetic. I kept drifting in and out randomly saying paper colors really loudly. Then I would realize where I was, start laughing and drift back to sleep. The nurse kept trying to keep me awake but I just couldn't keep my eyes open. Apparently I put on quite the show. I thought the nurse was going to wet her pants before I left.

LOL!
i had a procedure last summer and the nurse told me that i was very entertaining when i was coming to... i don't even remember now what she said that i was saying but she was VERY amused!
my stamping friends think that i am somewhat 'freakish' because i know all the colors by name... and what family they belong in... is THAT weird?

Oh this stories make me laugh. If you don't mind sharing Tony I would love to dream about him. And for surgeries my daughter takes after me as I have a habit of taking swings at the nurses when I am coming out of anesthesia.
But for dreams yes I dream about stamping and sewing. Have create wonderful ideas from my dreams. My 2 most recent dreams is the wedding invitation that I am doing for my niece, I had made several types then after a dream created just that right card. The other is a friends daughter is expecting her first baby and I dreamed of the baby quilt I wanted to make for her when I asked my friend what colors the nursery was in sure enough it was the color combo of the quilt I dreamed about. So I let my dreams take me wherever they want

I don't think I've had stamping dreams, but have had scrapbooking dreams.
I'm in stitches over some of your stories. DH is wondering why I'm laughing so much.

How funny to see this thread tonight, because just a couple of nights ago I had a silly stamping dream. In my dream, my sister told me that we should do a line of stamps for Amish women. As interesting as that idea might have been, I told her that marketing would be tricky, since we're an online company! LOL
(No disrespect meant to Amish women!)
I never cease to be amazed at how these things become dreams. It's as if someone shook up a bag full of random words, pulled out a few and created a story... and those are the dreams I have.
Thanks for the laughs!

heeheeheeheehee... You guys are too fun! I can SO relate. You know how some people keep dream journals? I keep a stamp sleep journal... for those ideas that you wake up with. The worst is when you dream ALL night long that you're blogging but can't get it right. The best is just as everyone says...when you can't fall asleep for the little creative flutters that have to be jotted down. My DH has been known to wake up & ask "what's the matter?" when he sees the mini flash light (no kidding, lol) only to be told: shhhh....i gotta a stampin idea I don't wanna lose"
I only wish I had Tony Danza dreams: WHO's THE (em)BOSS? hehehe (sorry) ;o), or a belly button lint dream (That sentiment is SO usable! Visions of belly button lint swaps...?), or an "anesthetic amethyst" dream. :O) Those are pure stamp dreamin' GOLD! :O)

I don't know how I missed this one, because it was a treasure. This is SO sweet! I laughed out loud. Thank You for sharing such a great giggle. :O)
I bet you that Amish women love stamping. Stamps are as environmentally friendly as the potato, after all & such a gorgeous handicraft. :O)

I always have stampin' dreams right before a workshop or class. Usually they are more like nightmares as I always forget something important in these dreams. Funny thing I have been known to forget something in real life too. Sure enjoyed all of your dreams too.

This is the best thread! I am laughing so hard. No one else is up to hear me, so I can laugh all I want. No specific stamping dreams lately, but when I was a SU demonstrator I had dreams all the time that my workshops would go all wrong. Now that I think about it, they did pretty often in real life too. I was always forgetting something and then trying to "cover up" that I had. LOL! Thanks for sharing and making my evening!

I do have stamping dreams but not as wild as yours. LOL In my dreams I am fretting over what designer paper to use or if everything in my project matches perfectly.LOL

I just spent all last night cardmaking in my dreams. I would wake up every hour or so, just to realize that I was stamping instead of really sleeping, and then doze off again. I am not sure if I really did sleep or did I just get zoned out over my card designs...that happens when I am awake.

I should do this!!
I have dreams about cards I want to make all the time, but then I forget them by the time morning comes around
Although I did make a card inspired by my duvet cover...does that count?

I dream about cards I am going to make quite often. Sometimes they turn out, sometimes not so much. I "dreamed" a black and white card, (love black & white), but just couldn't put that dream on paper successfully. I must have left something with the sandman.

Way too funny! Still in the newbie stage for such obsession, but once it matches my Sudoku passion, maybe. At the height of my addiction, I used to do Sudoku puzzles in my sleep. I don't know about Tony Danza though, especially with an apron and a vacuum...

My dreams mirror RL...I've never actually stamped in my dreams, but I have spent an awful long time on SCS in them!
