**Viva la Verve! April Week 1 {3/27/09}**
Yes I realize there are a few more days left of March, but the way the monnth ends on a Tuesday, I just wanted to start April earlY 
WHO'S READY FOR ANOTHER MONTH OF VERVE???????????? I am!
If you're new to the Viva la Verve challenges, here are the deets!
Complete each weekly sketch (uploaded on ever Friday) with the twist (an extra requirement for your sketch card) and have all of that months sketch cards uploaded by midnight EST on April 30th, and you will be eligible to win the next months Verve release for FREE! That is one AWESOME deal! If you don't get the sketches done until the last day of April, you still qualify! Just get those cards uploaded and link them on the sketch champion thread (this thread will be created during week 5)! I choose a random winner and create a thread JUST FOR YOU! Sound worth playing for? Lets begin April!
This weeks twist is to use a SENTIMENT STAMP ONLY!! This is the PERFECT time to get those Plain Janes inky! It doesn't matter what sentiment stamps you use, as long as no image stamps are used
Keywords are Verve (if you are using Verve stamps) and VLVApr01 (please make sure you add this keyword EXACTLY like this so it will show up in the gallery with the other cards!)
If you don't have any Verve, you are still MORE THAN WELCOME to play along!

Can't believe I'm first! I really liked this sketch - and you can't go wrong with any of the Verve sentiments I think this was the only Beautiful You stamp I hadn't used yet so guess it was time. I really wanted to do the black & white limited supply challenge and thought that it would emphasize the quote nicely for this card. Thanks again, Amber!

I love this sketch. Went ahead and made the Birthday card for 1st birthday for nephew tomorrow. Turned out cute...I think. I made all his invites as well, and they themed his Birthday party in these colors. Thanks for another great sketch Amber!

I so look forward to these challenges and I really like this one. However, my mojo has fled the scene. Oh, I did the sketch, but, IMHO, it's one of the ugliest cards I've ever done. I embossed the purple with swirls and the green with floral fantasy. I had made the ribbon (piece of paint swatch) and the bow (from the BG paper). Gave a little color to the sentiment. UGH!

Forgot to post this one when I was done. I really enjoyed this one and can see myself using it again. Ribbon from ribbon bin diving at Mike's was the colour inspiration for this card.
