CSSC61 - There's No Place Like Home - 3-24-09
Welcome to this week's Crafty Secrets Stimulating Creativity Challenge!
CSSC61 is a theme challenge, and the theme is "There's no place like home!"
You can create a project welcoming someone to the neighborhood, congratulating someone on a new home, or simply celebrating the idea of home. Some other ideas: make a house-shaped project or make an item to decorate your home for spring. You can use a broad interpretation of the theme.
My Sample Card:
Journey Home
The CSSC61 Gallery
Don't forget to use CSSC61 and craftysecrets in your keywords and link your creations to this thread!
Have fun!

Darlene, I'm so glad you've found a way to stay connected while you're at Cleveland Clinic. Anything that gives a sense of routine and normalcy is so helpful. Being able to stay in touch online was really important to us (and our friends and family too) when Ronan was in the NICU.
Hugs!

I was so far off! I thought it had something to do with ocean travel! I just posted a project with a house on it RIGHT before I got here!! But I made it a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think I'll link it, even though it fits the challenge better than the card I linked last week!
Glad to see you today, Darlene! Thank goodness for technology!

Way to go. I did get the clue yesterday and made a card as soon as I could. This morning before going to work I quickly checked to see if I was right so that I could post my card, but the challenge was not yet up. So I posted to my blog instead and decided to post to Splitcoast when I got home from work. So much for posting early for this challenge, I came home from work late and only now an I getting to post here.
This was a fun challenge Marcy, and surely, from someone not born in Canada, I too long for "Home Sweet Home." Here is my card for this great challenge.
Now off to see the other creations.

For some reason I struggled with this card today! My mojo took off on me, I think! Anyway after a couple of hours of putzing this is what I came up with!

Since I did a Home Sweet Home card for last week's challenge (Silly me!), I really had to think for this one. It was a lot of fun--thanks again! Here's my card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=137565

Here's mine, Marcy! I almost feel like I am cheating when I use the CS images! They are so little work, and they look so great!! I'm off school today due to a big spring storm-so I'm stampin' the day away!!
Hugs!

With so many adorable images from Crafty Secrets that fit this challenge, I chose the nest. It may not be my home, but those sweet little blue birds live there! Marcy, this was a fun challenge! Thanks!!!

Sorry, I don't have any CS products to match the theme this week. But I have totally enjoyed all of the creations in the gallery this week. You gals are great inspiration!

Sure you do How about Kitchen Classics (the kitchen's the heart of many a home!) or Tea and Coffee (you could add a computer generated bit to the Perk Up sentiment so you end up with "perk up - you'll be home soon" for somebody who has to be away for a while).
Wouldn't it be great to have a few more hours in each day to translate ideas into projects? I agree the gallery's been fun this week though - great stuff everybody!
