TLC210 Crimped Envelope Pocket Card {3/2/09}
Good morning Challenge Lovers!
It's time for another TLC on Splitcoast Stampers and today I chose a challenge taken right from the SCS Resources pages. A few weeks ago, The Weekly Inkling highlighted this Crimped Envelope Pocket Card done by Theresa. She did such a great job describing her process that I thought it would make a great Technique Lover's Challenge. So get out that crimper and grab an envelope and let's get started.
You may find complete instructions on how to create your projects HERE.
To view my sample for today's technique, CLICK HERE and HERE.
To view all the samples, CLICK HERE to view the TLC210 gallery.
And, as always, don't forget to use the keyword TLC210 (no spaces) when you upload your creations.

There was a Michael's coupon in the paper this weekend...40% off may get you one pretty cheap.
On the other hand, while I haven't tried it, you could use a scor-iit or scorepal to create lines in your envelope and perhaps get the same effect...or at least a reasonable facsimile.

I wonder if you cb'd the bottom portion if it would shrink it enough for the topper. Love this technique. Major snow day here in the southeast. Off to play... Thanks Lynn

Oh, I think I need to try this again. Last time my crimper wasn't working right and I couldn't get the top to fit on. I recently got a new crimper, so maybe it'll work right this time. Thanks, Lynn.

Oh this looks sooo pretty and I'd love to play but no crimper here... and I can't get out in this snow to get one. Maybe later in the week I'll give it a whirl! Have fun everyone!

I have seen these done with a Cuttlebug folder (as someone mentioned above) and they come out beautifully. So if you don't have a crimper, hopefully you can still play along.

Wow...GREAT challenge!!! I needed a SPECIAL Birthday Card for our friend who is 79 TODAY! She's soooo healthy...and...shhhh...SHE SMOKES! And DRINKS!! AND plays cards!!! LOL! AND....She's a BIG TIME "CHURCH LADY!" LOL!!!
She told me once, "I might have my vices, but I certainly try to make up for them with community service!" LOL! And, believe me, SHE DOES! She's VERY active in the community. She was the person in charge of the FREE vision screenings at the public schools. SHE was the person who figured out that Markie needed glasses! I LOVE HER!
Here's today's submission

Good morning!!! I am trying my hardest to get back into the habit of challenge chasing. I can always work out or clean after I stamped my card, right?
I usually don't do the crimped envelope thingie....but first Theresa's gorgeous sample, now Lynn with the challenge. I had to make one.
