WT207 - Frugal Finds
Anyone here thinking twice about your purchases these days? Actually, I don't know too many people that haven't been. Today's challenge should be a fun one as the challenge is to create using a frugal find. Whether it's something inexpensive or something recycled find ways to incorporate it into your design. After all, if we find ways to save on those embellishments, we have a little money for those stamps. 
I also wanted to mention that today is my last challenge for a few weeks. I've really over-committed myself for the month of March with designing as well as taking 3 classes and having my family home for March Break. I will be blogging though so feel free to drop by. I've lined up four great hostesses for the month of March and you'll love the challenges to come. I'll be back challenging you for the first Thursday in April.

What a fun challenge - I wish I had time to play I'm prepping for a class I'm having tonight. But I save all sorts of re-cycled things for crafting wish - I'll have to come back and play next week.

Gosh, I'm getting chills of sadness and I dont even know you except from being on the challenges. You will be missed but have fun being with your family.

Enjoy the break for March! Have fun with your family home for March break too! Ours isn't until the last week of March....the 29th I think...ugh!

Julia, SUCH a great challenge! I love being frugal and using things around the house to alter. I've even got DH and the kids in on it. They'll be ready to throw something away and pause to say, "You need this?" he he.

bargain find for 75 cents
I found a bargain just day before yesterday that I used.
It was a string of pale purple & pink silk butterfly's. I found it in the clearance isle at Wal-Mart for .75 cents.
Too much stuff card
I ended up putting so much "stuff" on the card I'm not sure I like it.  I actually prefer clean & simple (CAS) more than tons of layers.

Enjoy your 'breather', Julia, and look forward to your return--sounds like we will be in good hands during your absence! Many times I need a special image that I know won't be used that much and don't have the stamp, so I save a bunch by incorporating clip art images that I find for free.
