Default New Gallery Feature ?!

Maybe I just haven't noticed it before, but I did today -

I just uploaded a card and found a "heart" next to the title under the image - and when I clicked it - it put the card in favorites!! Wow oh wow - what a great little feature! One click, no confirmation page - awesome!!

Thanks SCS!

That's so cool! I couldn't figure out what it did when I clicked it. I've seen a similar feature on other sites and LOVE it. It's so handy to add something to your favorites without taking you to a new page. Totally cool!!!

Very cool. I was wondering about this too. Thought maybe someone was linking mine for Valentine cards since the ones I uploaded today were both <3 or love related. Thanks for subduing my curiosity by asking, ladies!

Great feature, Daven!! WTG

I am LOVING the favorite-ing feature. So very much quicker.

Daven...when my list gets long...I do the easy ones first. That way it looks like I have accomplished a lot LOL!

Thanks for this one...and coming on the heels of the quick comment feature...love it!

Based on some of the problems people had with posting 'live' comments in the gallery (as opposed to going to multiple pages to have your comment posted), we are being very conservative about which browser we are enabling these sorts of features for. When we get all the kinks worked out, we will start to expand the features to as many browsers as possible.

The first time I noticed, it was red - duh, I had favorited that one - that's cool, 'cause I don't have to check to see if I already did that. Thanks, Daven.

Now that we are talking about favorites I was wondering if there was an easy way to delete favorites. When I first started viewing I was putting everyting in my favorites. Now that I know how to browse the site I don't need to keep as many any longer. Is there a quicker way to delete rather than one by one cause it always goes back to the last one entered not where you left off. Any help would be appreciated.

If you click on the photo in your favs and scroll down to the menu that appear below it you should find the caption "remove from Favorites." Hope this helps. Spring cleaning is always a good thing!

Default Heart

Thanks, Daven. I saw the heart and it sort of went into my subconscious. Last night late I decided I was going to check into the little heart this morning and see what it was for. Low and behold.....thanks for the new feature.

I saw it - thought it was cute - then just thought it was because of valentine's day and it would go away - then I thought "well, next month we'll have a little shamrock and the next month we'll just have something else" - So glad it's better than my mind conjured up - and I need to stop talking to myself - that's too weird.

Thanks, Scott and/or Daven
