Default SU Color Chart craziness

One night I was going crazy flipping through all the charts I had printed off the various SCS forums and had stored in a binder. I decided to combine them all into 1 spreadsheet. Once I was done, I thought I would share with anyone else that might be interested.

I did not "create" any of this information. I simply compiled from various postings in the SCS forums. Thank you to every one that posted the info. I do not have your names on my print outs.

This spread sheet contains the SU color name, the RBG code, the DMC floss #, the Prismacolor pencil #, the Copic Marker #, and the CTMH name if available.

P.S. My husband thinks I am crazy putting this together. What can I say? My type "A" personality is showing.

I love making spread sheets, but wow this is beyond anything I have ever done for stamping. Great job, and thank you so much for sharing.

Default Editing in Excel

It is difficult to tell you exactly what to click on because it depends on what version of Excel you are using. There should be something called "Page Set up" or "Page Layout". In there you should be able to adjust the size of paper it prints on (Depending on your printer). Make sure it is set to print "landscape". I don't think it would be readable if you print on 5x7 portrait. In "page setup" you can adjust this (landscape vs portrait) and you should also be able to tell it to print 1 page wide by _ pages long. Excel should automatically print it on how ever many pages are needed when this is selected. I set up the spread sheet so that the column headers automatically print at the top of each page.

If you cannot get it to print how you would like that way, in "Page setup" there is also a "Scale" button where you can adjust it to X%. After printing you will need to trim the paper around it to fit your booklet.

You may have to play around with the settings a bit to get exactly what you want. I have never tried to print anything on 5x7 paper. I hope this helps.

Let me know how it works out for you or if you have any othe questions and I will try to help.

Before you do too much re-sizing or editing with this wonderful spreadsheet, you may want to see...

if your printer will print multiple pages on a single printed page. One of my printers calls this N-Up the other simply asks how many pages I want to print per page. If you choose 2 pages, the computer will re-size Page1 and Page2 to fit on a single sheet of paper. Once you print, you should then be able to trim to 5x7 for your book and all without any editing!

On both of my printers this is an advanced feature and found in the printer properties. When you print, a print box pops up where you verify that the xxx printer is the one you want to use, paper size, copies, etc. If you look, you will see a Printer Properties button, where you can select advanced features. You are looking for layout or finishing options.

Good Luck!
