LSC204...Paint it Black (1/23/09)
LSC204 Paint it Black
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with using black card bases on my cards. The solid black background can really make your images, colors and papers POP! Let’s see what you can do.
Limit:
Card base must be black so that you have a very bold, black expanse.
Keyword: LSC204
Here are some samples:
Hogs and Kisses
Skunk
LSC204 Gallery
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You’re done!

Here is one from my gallery
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=205884
The card base is black and the circle is two sided paper black and white .
By cutting and weaving you get a certain pattern. black label and ribbon...
Black enough ?
If I can find some time today I make another...

I got this awesome paper a long time ago, black on one side white on the other. Makes it really easy to use black as the main card base.

I use a lot of dark navy card bases because I like the look of a dark base - so it shouldn't be hard to move up one notch into black. I didn't realise the challenge was up already, I've been having a lazy lie-in!! Time to get up, LOL.

I don't use much black except as a small amount of accent, so using this much black was a challenge for me. But I like how it came out. Here is my card.
